Several hundred people including soldiers, families and friends gathered at a Fort Hood, Texas stadium Friday night for a candlelight vigil to remember the victims of Thursday’s shooting rampage that left 13 dead and 30 wounded.

An Army chaplain offered prayers for the families and the victims.

Chaplain Douglas Carver told the soldiers dressed in fatigues and black berets -- to “remember to keep breathing ... keep going.”

God Bless America and Amazing Grace were sung as people clung to one another and bowed their heads.

It was the first community gathering since the killings.

My prayers go out to all the families at Ft.Hood. We must support these families with our prayers and keep the focus on helping them through their terrible loss. I for one will not allow ANYONE to talk to me about the terrorist who did this, and attempt to call him a victim. He is an Islamic Terrorist who planned this attack just as those did on 9/11.

Please read the statement by Col.Allen West, the man I wish was our CIC!

Col.Allen West Will be on FOX & Friends this morning 11/9 at about 8:15AM to discuss his statement about the attack on Ft.Hood! Be sure to tune in and please spread the word!
