State Worker Beat Up At SEIU Meeting
CBS13.com ^ | 11/6/09

A state worker is recovering after a bloody brawl at a union hall. He says members of the local SEIU 1000 beat him up and sent him to the hospital all because he wanted to expose alleged corruption within the union.

Ken Hamidi is a state worker at the California Franchise Tax Board. Last night he walked into a union hall in Sacramento for an SEIU local 1000 meeting.

"We had every right to be here, very simple; it wasn't anything private or anything exclusive," said Hamidi.

But Hamidi says the union members did not want him there.

"Three, four people jumped at me, wrestled with me, then did all that," said Hamidi. "I was covered in blood and then over to the emergency room."

These people have started an economic assault on business owners, investors, and taxpayers, and now it's turning into a brutal feeding frenzy. Mr. Hadmidi should sue the union for a lot of money and to get the names of the people who brutally attacked him, then sue those thugs.

Why are unions allowed to beat people and send them emergency rooms and no one is arrested?

Why are unions allowed to run as criminal organizations/extortion rackets and not be shut down and subject to RICO laws?

I once had a job in a union shop. They couldn’t legally make me join the union though, and it burned those bums that they didn’t get my monthly extortion payment like they got from my fellow employees. I guess I’m just uncooperative.

In answer to you first question, if this man can obtain the names of the people who beat him up, he has a very strong case for a criminal prosecution for felony assault and I think the DA in Sacramento would be inclined to prosecute these people for assault. They’re in seious trouble if Mr. Hamidi has enough courage and determination to obtain the names of the people who assaulted him.

Why are unions allowed to beat people and send them emergency rooms and no one is arrested?

Because most unions are corrupt and gangsters whose only purpose is to extort all they can get from the companies they work for. Unions have destroyed the American auto industry and has peddled their corruption into Washington.

...and that is very telling. I think it tells us a lot about who is pushing so hard for a government takeover of health care and it tells us this administration has an extreme left-wing socialist position on economic issues and health care. The dems have already lost the House in 2010...the votes just haven’t been cast yet.

I spent about a month in a union shop as a kid. It was a job as a local box boy at the supermarket. There was some other kid about my age that was a union member who was a real jerk. The union angle was brought into it because I didn’t want to be a member or pay union dues. Rather than fight it out, I split.

My grandparents weren’t big fans of unions. They had seen the violence associated with Unions back in the first half of the 20th century.

Looks like those days are back. We can thank people like Obama and his enablers for that.

Last line in the article:

No criminal charges have been filed in this case.

I'd like to say "unbelievable" but it isn't.

Well I think the victim has to file a complaint first which would then lead to an investigation to find out who attacked him. Because this crime is not in progress now, he has to take the first step, or perhaps somebody else can report this to the police.

When the “authorities” will not prosecute those who are violating the rights of others,

the citizens WILL respond and do it themselves.

Look, soon, for goonion thugs being shot in the process of “roughing someone up”.

Don’t ever expect “consistency of applying the rules” from a leftist - you’ll always be disappointed.

Such a concept has utterly NO value to them.
Their “end goals” are all that matter.

The only time the rules are invoked or followed is when it advances their goals.

He may have exposed these vermin for what they really are.
Liberalism puts a pretty mask on the vilest of passions. Once the mask is removed, the ugliness underneath is exposed to the light, and it's horrifying.

Are you kidding? This is absolutely nothing compared to what the AFL does.

My grandfather was elected the president of the machinists union at RCA, the first AFL union at RCA. The union leaders were unhappy with the election and asked that my grandfather be moved to management, so that he would be ineligible for union membership. My grandfather refused and shortly later he was run down by a hit and run driver as he stood on the curb in front of his home. RCA closed the plant and returned to the in house union. No AFL.

Or do you think the unions will stick together?

Good point. I was thinking too much about a civil lawsuit in which Mr. Hamidi would have to know the names of the people who assaulted him. In a criminal case, yes it is the job of the police to investigate and find out who attacked this man. The victim just has to give police the basic information they need such as the location, date, and time of this assault, and descriptions of the attackers.

I don't know anything specific about the Sacramento PD and what kind of union they have. It's certainly their legal duty and obligation to investigate this attack.

They beat him up because they post tramatic stress disorder brought on by War on Terror. :)
