Vincent Mosby signed a marriage contract and paid a dowry in a religious ceremony in August, police said.
Mosby, 23, of Kansas City didn’t legally wed his 14-year-old bride, however, because Missouri law won’t allow it without a judge’s order. Police said she was pressured into the union because her mother and stepfather thought she was going to be sexually active with a boy her age.

Police said the girl’s stepfather and mother became concerned that she was going to become sexually active, so the stepfather allegedly approached Mosby about marrying the girl. The girl was “strongly encouraged” to wed Mosby, police said.
The stepfather, Mosby and the teen had several “sit downs” before the stepfather arranged for a religious ceremony on Aug. 4 at her home, not far from the stepfather’s mosque.
Two members of the mosque attended, but the bride “was not allowed to be present,” court records said. She waited in her room upstairs. Her stepfather allegedly came upstairs after the ceremony, which consisted of prayers and a contract signing, to announce that she was married.

Did they not mention it at all, which is five points, or does using oblique references count for the 3 point score, and should there be a penalty of a point at least for using mosque so prominently...
Aside from the sarcasm, it absolutely looks like the editor ordered the writer to not make the man's religion an issue in the article, and the author took every opportunity to bend the orders from that prick into a nice shiny bow to keep under his kilt.
I am sure it is more of a strategic thing. An “enemy of my enemy is my friend” sort of thing. Myopic to be sure but they are hoping to just “use” the Muslim radicals until they can wrest control firmly into their hands then they will become more “ Right Wing” or anti-Muslim than they accuse their opponents of. The Obama Presidency is a sort of test run.

I went to school with a couple of girls (1 year apart) whose father (not muslim) took them to Utah (when the marriage age was still 14) at 14 and 15 to be married off to Marines so they would be “pure” on their wedding night.
Both girls were divorced by the time they were 20.
I think the KC cops did the right thing. Otherwise, it’s a capitulation to Sha’ria law.
I detest ragheads but I do feel sorry for the women and the kids, especially the girls. Their law is barbaric. There is no redemption, no grace, no respect, no kindness or gentleness or genteelness. It is an organized brutality whose only product is hatred, coercion and violence.
