There’s a long antiquated history of arranged marriages in western Europe and even sporadically in America. But these arrangements, unless it’s for strictly political purposes among the higher classes or for financial reasons, great care was taken to make compatible matches and a time period of courting was allowed to see if the personalities and character would be a good match. Given the limited opportunities of the time for exposure exposure to suitable mates and the greater control parents had over the children, this was a largely successful custom. It worked for thousands of years. But what the muzzies do is brutally different. The girl has no say. She is mere chattel, nothing more.

The more bits and pieces of western culture muzzie women are exposed to, the better off they will be in the very, very long run.

God bless them and give them strength. May they gradually find the freedom and the outlets to express their talents, abilities and pursue their dreams.

My Italian grandparents’ marriage was arranged.

Their little town had maybe 10 family names, so one of the reasons for arranged marriages was to avoid inbreeding.

There were no cars, no electricity, and no telephones in their town when they were growing up.

They had six children and were married for 68 years before my grandma died at 87. Grandpa died a few years later at 97.

I work with a ministry to women who want to leave polygamy here in the US. In most polygamy (esp FLDS) groups, women are still treated like chattel and have no say. I know several women who had the same thing happen to them.

It still isn’t just the Muslims, although they do it on a grander scale.
