Obama Suggests Hasan May Have Cracked Under Stress (Defending Terrorist acts?)

PRESIDENT OBAMA: "Well, look, we -- we have seen, in the past, rampages of this sort. And in a country of 300 million people, there are going to be acts of violence that are inexplicable. Even within the extraordinary military that we have -- and I think everybody understands how outstanding the young men and women in uniform are under the most severe stress -- there are going to be instances in which an individual cracks. I think the questions that we're asking now and we don't have yet complete answers to is, is this an individual who's acting in this way or is it some larger set of actors? You know, what are the motivations? Those are all questions that I think we have to ask ourselves. Until we have these answers buttoned down, I'd rather not comment on it."

Obama should resign the office of POTUS immediately. He is defending the terrorist Hasan, Obviously the CINC is briefed at a much higher level then the rest of us. There is way too many clues available in he media that this guy was connected with Al-Qaida. Yet the POTUS defends his actions as stress related! This is apalling every victims family should be outraged at this idiot in chief.

What is the pressident doing even speculating on this when he is telling everyone not to rush to judgment?

True, Bill Handel out here in LA (get podcast) just went through a 30 minute diatribe on why the president cannot say anything for or against him due to a defense law of how his comments might influence the jury.
He noted most will not like the speech due to the limitations on the president.
He did not mention what would happen being supportive of the killer.

What he is doing is treason, he is defending a Muslim extremist Jihadist that Killed American Soldiers, by offering such a cockamame excuse based on the available intel in the media right now. So does he then also believe that those 19 Jiahdists on 911 were just stressed out too because they were obviously being confused by radical people? Is that the defense now? Is that how we are going to view those at war with America? God Help Us all.

"This is a time of war. And yet these Americans did not die on a foreign field of battle," Obama said to a crowd estimated at about 15,000. "They were killed here, on American soil, in the heart of this great American community. It is this fact that makes the tragedy even more painful and even more incomprehensible." If it is comprehension O is after and he does not want to listen to Americans who understand what "drove" Hasan to commit these murders. Surely he can find terrorists victims or relatives of victims is Mumbai, India or Islamabad, Pakistan who will explain this two him. If he wants, he can go to the source and read the writings of innumerable angry Islamists who are very clear about their motives and intent.

Obama is cracking under the stress.
If he cant call a Jihadist a Jihadist, he’s clueless.
If he thinks “stress” causes rampages like this rather than a twisted and deliberate attempt to cause great harm, he’s an idiot.
If he is deliberately discounting the ROP angle, he’s a liar.

I’m old enough to remember the kerfuffle when President Nixon pronounced the Mansons guilty while the trial was still going on. Nonetheless, the President of the United States should be talking about protecting the American people from terror - and taking steps to do it. Instead of doing what he is doing, which is nothing good.

POTUS is a flaming idiot. If it walks like a terrorist, talks like a terrorist, shoots like a terrorist and kills like a terrorist, HE IS A TERRORIST. Only the POTUS, FBI and Chief of Staff of the Army cannot see that.
To: Typical_Whitey
What is worse, at the Ft.Hood ceremonies today, not one mention was made by Hussein or the Army General Officers that spoke about the perp or his Islamic history. A travesty all around and in particular against the victims of the terrorist.

May God bless our brave men and women in uniform, as they strive to defend us. They deserve better.

That’s utter nonsense and excuses. President Bush didn’t hold back after 911. He called them by their proper name (evil) and then went out to kill them! This is what we get when we have a democrat/marxist administration. It’s a ‘law enforcement’ issue now...not a war on terror.

Well Obama’s words are the best explanation for the terrorist attack. Obama is in denial about Islamic terror, despite the fact that a score of terrorist attempts have been thwarted in the last 18 months. Two of those terrorist acts—in Little Rock and Ft. Hood— were successful. Obama’s "see no evil" attitude ensures that more successful Islamic terror acts will take place in the coming months.

and I think everybody understands how outstanding the young men and women in uniform are under the most severe stress -- there are going to be instances in which an individual cracks.
The President of the United States is implying that all members of the armed forces are under stress so severe that they may try to contact Al-Qaida and gun down their fellow soldiers. Shameful talk coming from any American, let alone the Commander in Chief.
