I did live through it, living in Alexandria, VA at the time. I walked to my car every night after work wondering if I could be the next victim. I was extremely relieved when they were captured. I don’t regret his sentence of death and believe he deserves it, but don’t need to witness it. A person’s life will end.

After clemency was denied today, they should have led him out into a courtyard surrounded by 4 good snipers on the roof and a single tree to hide behind (or maybe a gas pump).

The first sniper instructed to shoot him in the knee about an hour and a half into it. The second pop him someplace else non lethal, as well as the third sometime later. Eventually, when he felt like it, the fourth could make the head shot.

Oh, to be a dreamer! I would do pay-per-view for that.

Maybe I am off base here, but why kill these scumbags and give them the easy way out? I would think that a much better deterrent would be to force feed
these kind of freaks pork and keep them healthy and isolated for the rest of their hopefully long lives.

Don’t misread this as anti-capital punishment...I just feel a stronger kind of punishment is warranted. I would certainly use deadly force again
to stop someone from trying to kill me or other innocents,
so I’m not against killing when it’s needed.
