John Edwards' $400 Haircut Tip Came From Obama Campaign

Remember John Edwards' famous $400 haircut? It was that story, leaked to Politico back in April of 2007, that helped bring down Edwards as a "man of the people" kind of candidate in his second bid for the White House.
And where did that tip come from? The Obama campaign.
Politico's Ben Smith, who initially reported the "hair apparent" story, writes that David Plouffe, who managed Barack Obama's race for the White House, fesses up to the Obama campaign's role in leaking the story:
I was always interested in candidate Obama's relationship with the dark(er) political arts and asked him at his first campaign press conference why he'd hired opposition researchers; he responded that they were to check out the candidate himself and to examine high-minded policy questions. That was not, exactly, the whole truth....
"We did much less of this [opposition research] than other campaigns did," (Obama Campaign Staffer) Plouffe writes a bit self-servingly, "but there were times we indulged -- it was our researchers who found John Edwards's infamous $400 hair cut expenditures."

If this had come from the McCain Campaign, the story would have been “John McCain’s Dirty Politics”.
I love to read about Dems sinking Dems. They are portrayed as oh, so compassionate, etc. Zero has played dirty all the way up the line from the very beginning. On the other hand, if Big Media had been upfront about Rielle Hunter before the Iowa Caucuses, Hillary would have won Iowa and our political landscape might look somewhat different today. Big Media protected Edwards and he drew Hillary!s voters in Iowa giving Zero the Big Win. What a complete manipulation by Big Media this last Presidential election was!

Of course....it’s the Chicago Way. Who can forget what Obama did to his opponents while he was running for senate? Messy divorce records. These Obama people are the scum of the earth.

A $400 haircut doesn’t seem like much of a big deal when you compare it to millions of dollars for a vacation rental and thousands of dollars for shoes... etc ...etc.
