As am I. It was obvious this man harbored deep ill will towards the country that fed him. It's all too common and but another example that Islam is not a religion of peace. Instead of condemning it outright, our president and other muslims are saying not to judge the man; a man who is a murderer, a textbook terrorist, and nothing more!
This sounds more like a situation where he would “take the fifth.” That’s not overridden even in courts martial.
It might be difficult for the average white bread American to figure out what would move someone to such a devastating act, but Obama has to be lying through his teeth — he knows enough about Islam that he can’t plead ignorance.

I agree with the good Lt. Col. This was an act of terrorism plain and simple and I’m sick and tired of the PC crap about it. We have our best lying 6 feet under becuase of a terrorist on a military base. What in thee hell are they going to do about it????????????????????????? Not to mention the unborn baby. As I listened to Obama, I jotted down 2 things - “incomprehensible” and “twisted logic.” I agree with Peters. It is not incomprehensible if you know Islam and jihadist thinking.

My take is slightly different: he is a traitor, a mass murderer and a Muslim. What has made me even more upset is learning that many of the people he shot were embers of his own unit. he was killing his comrades, for Gosh sake.
I haven’t read the transcripts of Obama’s speech today, but I can think of no greater opportunity to lay claim to this event as being the very crux of justification for any military being placed in harms way in foreign soil likely to harbor AlQuada and why US forces have been there for the past 8 years and “fill in the blank” sized forces will be deployed in those areas in the immediate future.
Now, if Obama made no such reference, then he has telegraphed his more sincere loyalty to the extreme Muslim cause to remove power from whom he perceives are ‘infidels’, namely the American people.
IMHO, it isn’t what he said today that is as important as what he may not have said in such a situation pregnant with opportunity to communicate and lead as a Commander-in-Chief.
I like and respect Lt. Col. Peters and I’m glad he’s on our side.
