It would be just hilarious if it all fell apart after so much time has been wasted on it. Especially considering how the dems in the House already have their asses on the line for supporting it. If it doesn’t happen, their votes can still be used against them next year. The same goes for ‘Cap & Tax’.

Hopefully this trend of the House passing radical liberal legislation with the Senate not moving it will continue. LOL

~snip~
“And the message that Clinton is delivering is that he lost the House to Republicans in 1994 because he did not get health care passed. Now, they’re up there — Obama and Clinton, and Reid and Pelosi — lying to these Democrats. They are signing their own reelection defeat certificate if they vote for this. The dirty little secret is Obama doesn’t care, and Pelosi doesn’t care, particularly if she is able to chip off some Blue Dog Democrats. Because the objective here is to get this passed. They will give up seats to get this passed. I cannot impress upon you enough just how overridingly important this is. It’s all that matters right now. They’re going to pull out all the stops to get this done even to the point of losing a majority in the House if it comes to that.”

” ‘Cause they think they’ll get it back at some point.”

SO LONG AS THEY DON’T FINALLY PASS SOMETHING the more time that is spent on the health care thing the better for the Republic.

I think they expevt that if this thing passes they will have Socialism and, after losses next November, a return to a permanent Social Democrat government. The political argument after 2012 when it takes full effect will be primarily about which party can administer socialism more efficiently and/or more compassionately and the answer will almost always be,”the Socialists, of course.”

He lost the House because of the Assault Weapons Ban. Personally, I'm as pissed about this idiot bill as I was about the AWB, and there are a LOT more people who care about health insurance than gun rights. I hope the Democrats reap the full reward for this unconstitutional abomination of a health care "reform" bill.
