Today the President did his job, and I say that in a non-complimentary fashion. He spoke before a nation that was still in mourning over the first terrorist attack on American soil since 9/11, but he did so in a cowardly manner.
At no point during his speech did he mutter any words that describe the enemy we continue to face. He spoke vaguely of "twisted logic" and "extremists", but failed to point the finger directly at Islam. If we didn't know any better, we wouldn't have a clue who or what he was talking about.

This is why I couldn’t watch coverage of the service. Ordinarily, I would, but I just could not stomach even looking at the Liar in Chief for even a moment.
It was televised? I shoulda known. I personally can’t stand the sight or sound of him. At least WJC had a pleasant voice.
The AHIC leaves me continually astounded. There will be more, that is for sure. Especially now that the PC President has insured the world he is for real.

Interestingly, I don’t think CNN and pals mentioned GWB quietly going to Ft. Hood a day earlier. (I heard it on talk radio, although they did say GWB’s ranch is only 30 miles away.) Yes, that must have been it. DC is so far from Texas that it took lots of time to rearrange the Great Zero’s schedule.
CNN is still pushing the ‘troubled’ person theory. They’re saying he was having problems finding a wife, and that his mother ‘had recently passed away’. God forbid they use the word, ‘died’. (As they say on Fox, a little straight talk, some Anglo Saxon frankness would help matters considerably.) When last I tuned in to Anderson Cooper on CNN, he was showing a clip of jubilant Jihadists celebrating on New York’s streets and he wanted to know what the viewers thought about that. What will he say when another Muslim having trouble finding a wife decides to bomb the WH or Congress? (Somehow they’ll blame conservatives, which Evan Thomas of Newsweek is already doing.)

For the most part, I don’t think they do. Once before, when Zer0 went before some troops, his advance men made sure that only personnel which had voted for him would be invited. They knew he would be given the cold shoulder if the troops weren’t cherry-picked.
Of course, craven officers like Gen. Casey are another story. It appears that career advancement is their primary objective and the direction of the military and the country itself are lower priorities.

I saw it last night and it was sickening. He was trying to look like JFK and used all these JFK analogies. He was trying so hard to deliver something that was memorable but there was no real emotion behind it just a couple of teleprompters for him to read.
He is in way over his head and what scares me the most is when we are attacked on a grand scale what will he do.

More and more people are catching on to the likelihood that there is something seriously wrong with this dude.
He is utterly soul-less.
He has the worst speech cadences I’ve ever heard. Awkward pauses in the wrong place, choppy, strange intonations, inappropriate accents, incorrect rising and falling inflections. If he were some guy in the ‘hood, I’ve have a hard time listening to him. As POTUS, he and his speech patterns turn my stomach.
I do not have an Ivy League education and can present a speech much better than Obama, teleprompter not required.
It would seem that a person who attended Columbia and Harvard would have had to take at least 1 public speaking class or had oral presentations that needed to be completed; either or both giving ample time for professors to critique his speaking style.
I am glad to read that I was not the only one who thought Obama’s speech at Fr Hood was strange. Especially his “God Bless America” finish... that was strangest of all. He truly does not give a darn about the families, the soldiers who now fear being on American soil or the rest of the nation who now know it is “only a matter of time” when/where the next (larger) 9/11 will occur.
No kidding, and what's with that on again, off again accent? When talking to the Vets he once again comes up with that what is suppose to be, I am pretty sure, though it is kind of hard to tell, southern accent. Whats with him, anyway? It sounds so condescending. Does he think all the Vets are from the south or is he just trying to be "down home" for the folks? Whatever it is he is trying to come across as he sure knows how to deep down annoy.
