Oh my, I didn’t know he had done that stuff in the Army too. I bet a lot of people didn’t know about that.

In case no one has replied to your question yet, here goes...Zero was at a conference with native Americans the day of the shootings. Live TV cut into that conference because Zero was supposed to give the nation a statement on the Fort Hood shootings. Well, instead of him talking about the terrorist attack, we heard him joke with the conference attendees and even give “shout outs” to some in the audience, causing them to applaud and laugh. This is infuriating because Zero knew about the shootings for 90 minutes at that time and he was acting so happy. Then after 3 minutes of his jovial talk with the conference, he finally sobered up a little to give a canned and insincere statement on the attack.

I could not bring myself to watch the memorial at Fort Hood because Zero would be there, doing what I knew he would, ruining the solemn ceremony.

Is there a radio thread? I’m still not a fan of Beck’s personal beliefs, but I’m really warming up to some of his views - his take on third parties and how we need to ditch the GOP is very interesting to me. Him saying today that the best way to force the GOP to change is to leave the GOP is absolutely right.

That is the strangest photo of Zero. Every time I see that pic, it seems like it’s a frame from some horror movie. Well, having him be fake president is a horror. He’s really into that Mussolini pose. Hey maybe someday he’ll get the piano wire treatment.

No radio thread. I can't get his show live locally so I link to it on the Internet each morning. Unlike Rush's show, I've never called in to Glenn's live show, but then I'm much more busy from eight to twelve than from noon to three in my daily routine.

I'm not so sure Glenn means 'to leave' the GOP as much as he means to ignore the party labels and find the conservative candidates to vote into office and stop this marxist train.

I feel your pain.
I have a liberal MIL and FIL.
They are coming for a visit Thursday morning! That’s tomorrow morning! AHHHHHH!

Last week when she visited, I was convieniently “busy” and she had her son (my hubby) all to herself.

But tomorrow, both are visiting and I’ll probably be here until 11am.

The FIL is an old time union guy. MIL does what he says, which is what his union rag tells him to do, politically speaking.

They go to Catholic church without fail, yet vote for democrats who then keep the abortion plank in the democrat set of values. I don’t get it. How can people go to Christian churches and vote democrat. I’ll never understand that.

Ask them. ... I’m serious, ask them to defend that delusionary reasoning. You might actually awaken something in their festering souls. Give them a chance to move off of tepid, to be hot or cold.

My husband and I have learned that his parents are just too stuck on stupid to bother with arguing politics with them. It’s been 25 years that I’ve known them.

The union he was in (state police) really did a number on him. He was with them over 30 years. When they visit, we steer clear of politics.

His mother just parrots what the father says. She’s clueless. He’s just too old to change.

I’ve never brought up the abortion-church issue with them. I have a neighbor who is the same way. Same union as the FIL too. Same religious affiliation. He’s too old to change too. These people are pushing 70 years old.

I once asked a former friend of mine about it. I knew her for 40 years(met in kindergarten) before I cut off the friendship, I asked her why she voted for dems when they support abortion. She said she voted that way because her father always had. Oh, there’s a good reason!

I told her I thought voting for a democrat put the blood of innocents on one’s soul, and I would never ever vote for a democrat because I don’t want to explain to God why I voted to harm his innocent Lambs.

I spoke to her about this before a presidential election, to try to get her to see the light and vote pro-life. This was back in the Bush-Gore race. She just didn’t agree that a democrat vote was a vote for abortion and she added that although she would never have an abortion, she couldn’t tell others not to have one! Yeah. I can’t be pals with abortion lovers. Not gonna happen.

We’ve learned over the years of our marriage, that mentioning anything political with his parents is like lighting a fuse. Not worth it. They are in charge of their own souls. Free will and all that. God made it that way, free will to live by His word or to ignore His word.

If I wanted to really throw a bomb, I’d bring the matter up, but it just isn’t worth it.

I can be grateful that my husband didn’t drink the liberal kool-aid in that household. His sister did and she is unbearable.

End of rant, thanks for listening!

: )

Realplayer doesn't play that well on my computer either. You might consider getting a cable which will connect up your computer to your stereo system or television or in my case my stereo boombox to use in lieu of your PC speakers, that way you can increase the volume of the audio. I don't know why the audio is so low on that link.

On Today’s Program

Glenn is back!

Glenn returned to the airwaves today with plenty to say, starting with the bizarre reaction speech President Obama gave after the troop shooting. Inexplicably, Obama gave shout outs and promoted redistribution of wealth policies for nearly 2 minutes before addressing the tragedy at Ft. Hood. This didn't sit well with Glenn, check out his reaction here. ( Transcript, Insider Audio)

Who's the extremist?

As Glenn recovered from surgery, he noticed another disturbing trend in the aftermath of the Ft. Hood shooting - no one seems willing to label this guy an extremist. Obama, Pelosi and Reid don't hesitate to call tea party goers extremists yet they put the brakes on calling the guy who killed 13 people and wounded 30 an ‘extremist?’ Glenn reacts. ( Transcript, Insider Audio)

Arguing with Idiots finalists

The top ten finalists for Glenn's Arguing with Idiots YouTube Video Contest are in, and the voting officially ends this Friday at midnight! The video with the most views is the winner, so watch them all, pick your favorite, and start forwarding them around! See if you can help make your fav a winner. The 10 finalists all did a fantastic job - check em out HERE.

Defining a 'saved' job

What is a 'saved' job exactly? Most economists are left scratching their heads because it's a completely made up statistic. Well, finally some numbers are coming in on what the government considers a saved job. The results are astounding -- not because they were a success. They were astounding because this is one of the worst attempts at spin in political history - claiming jobs 'successes' in the midst of 10.2% unemployment and shedding 2.2 million jobs. Even David Gregory isn't buying the spin. It's all in the latest 'Beck Talks' (hosted by Stu, in for Glenn) video blog. WATCH

Thank a Veteran

Today is Veterans Day. If you see a vet, thank them. And do it not only today but every day. The men and women of our Armed Forces willingly put it on the line for us, risking everything without the lure of riches and fame. They do it so you can remain free and live life how you want to. They deserve our gratitude. Glenn gave his thoughts on our troops this morning on radio. ( Transcript, Insider Audio)

ACLU's worst nightmare

The December Issue of Glenn's Fusion magazine focuses on the real meaning of Christmas - redemption. It's not just about the plasma TV and the Slanket (you know you want one), and it's not something we should only think about once a year. Fusion does what very few publicans are willing to do these days: talk about God and how he can change your life...and all you have to do is ask. Find out how God worked in Glenn's life and much much more in Fusion magazine. Get your copy HERE.

Also, don't miss your chance to see Glenn on stage performing in The Christmas Sweater - A Return to Redemption.

For the 2009 Christmas season, Glenn is re-introducing The Christmas Sweater. In this show Glenn shares the real life events that inspired him to write The Christmas Sweater, and features stories of individuals whose lives were forever changed by the message of The Christmas Sweater. Plus, an adapted version of Glenn's Broadway-style stage show will be shown.

This incredible Christmas celebration will be simulcast Live in HD to movie theaters all over the country on Thursday, December 3rd. It's a chance to connect with the true meaning of Christmas. Check for a theater location near you and get your tickets HERE.

- viewer, listener, and sponsor support for Glenn’s radio and tv shows (so the opposition cannot shut him up)
- accurate information and extensive resources for Glenn’s research
- decisive action from conservative politicians and law enforcement resulting from Glenn’s research

No, I think he was pretty adamant about third parties and that the GOP will not listen unless people start leaving it for the alternatives - he was saying nearly the same thing leading up to NY23 and he has publicly declared himself a Libertarian time and again.

I wouldn't commit to the Libertarian party like Beck has, but I still think it's good that he's promoting third parties.

Thanks for posting, that was a great story. Isn’t it telling that the liberal media hate people with that kind of character.
