Garret always seemed to be a straight shooter to me, however, as we know, the talking heads you see rarely are more than people reading off a teleprompter (sound familiar?). It is the producers and writers who really control what happens.

Remember the meeting Roger Ailes had with Axelrod a few weeks ago? I have a gnawing feeling that the Axelthug pulled an “offer you can’t refuse” on Fox. Since then the tenor of their programming has been much more sympathetic and less critical of Zero and his leftist memes.And other administration types have started appearing on Fox. Actually, this is troubling.
An interview by Major Garrett isn’t going to be any different than one with anyone at ABC or NBC or CBS.

I wonder if Fox had to give up anything to get the interview. It means nothing to me personally, I have no interest in listening to people I can’t trust.

He would be the best choice. He's more the "old school journalist". No emotion, just the facts please.
The thing is, if they do a professional interview, with a few valid but tough questions, he might come back. If they send in one of the more emotional types (Glenn Beck whom I love but not a good choice), then he won't be back.
I'm glad he finally manned up and is willing to do an interview. What he was doing with Fox was so childish.
