Man arrested for 'anti-Christian' mall disturbance Kiosk employee allegedly tore a crucifix from someone's neck Police arrested 22-year-old Abdul Walid Hamid of Hayward on the evening of Wednesday, Nov. 4, after he reportedly tore a crucifix from a person's neck and scared others at Stoneridge Shopping Center.
Hamid, an employee at a mall kiosk near Starbucks, has been charged with battery, terrorist threats and grand theft.
According to reports, Hamid was yelling "Allah is power" and "Islam is great" while holding a pen in a fist over his head. Witnesses said he shouted anti-Christian comments, said police.
"We had multiple people calling 911," Elerick said.
Hamid was arraigned Tuesday morning at Alameda Superior Court in Pleasanton on charges of battery, grand theft, exhibition of a deadly weapon and a possible hate crime.
Either way, good for the witnesses, bystanders and he cops here...
Keep an eye on whoever is responsible for letting this violent freak out of jail, so if he murders a dozen or so people at some point down the road, we'll know who to hold responsible.
Poor thing. Must be having a bad hair day. There are no potential terrorist
so we can’t say that.
Perhaps America is slowly getting the picture of what Islam is all about.
Today, the ripping off of a Crucifix, tomorrow the going off of a suicide bomber.
It’s an epidemic!
...????...I guess they have to wait to get official word from the Obama administration if threatening a Christian with death is a hate crime
Now now, everyone. We must not jump to any conclusions. Pres—ent “Acting Stupidly” says so.
Trust me, anti-Christian threats or deeds will not be seen as a hate crime—not in Kalifornistan.
“We had multiple people calling 911,”
Should have had numerous people dialing “COLT .45 911!”
I thought that muslims revered Jesus as a prophet?
Why would someone want to attack a symbol of one of the prophets of Islam?
