When they arrived at 24th Street between Eighth and Ninth Avenues, they reporting finding a door forced open to an abandoned concrete building. Inside, the officers said they found a badly decomposed body.
The body was so decomposed it appeared mummified.
Police officers believe the body had been there for a quite some time.
This will be considered a suspicious death until further investigation from the coroner is complete, according to the Huntington Police Department.
I used to live in Huntington.
Ya think?
Police officers believe the body had been there for a quite some time.
I just love brilliant detective work. LOL
When's the last time you were seen there?
Are you missing?
I knew you FReepers would love this article!

"You know, if I were a single man, I might ask that
mummified body out. That's a good-looking mummified body."
You mean bodies don't mummify overnight? AWB
Well could be that they believe the body wasn’t moved there from another location. Also, it could be suspicious but it also could be a homeless person that died of natural causes and no one discovered the body until the B&E.
Wow, think about it. Trying to break and enter a house and you hit a body when you open the door. That’s gotta make you change your mind.
I haven’t been seen there in a while. I am not sure if I am missing or not. Good questions.
We have quite a homeless population here. The building was not occupied, so I can see one of the homeless “moving in”, and casing in his chips. There is also a lot of drug dealers here. Could have been a hit. Abby and Ducky are working on it now.....they will know!
Was Larry King on the air recently?
I would imagine that might cure one of ever trying to break into a house again.
LMAO!
It’s Robert Byrd.
“Its Robert Byrd.”
I love you guys!!!
