SNIPPET: "The Centre has warned the citizens against possible terror attacks in five cities of India, which are expected to take place around the first anniversary of Mumbai terror attacks.
"The Intelligence Bureau has received some inputs from state governments that terrorists were trying to infiltrate through the Indian west coast and target vital installations in the country, revealed a Home Ministry official to a news channel.
The state governments have been given the orders for boosting the security in and around railway stations, airports as well as other significant places."
SNIPPET: "This Home Ministry alert is based on the inputs available from FBI, which they obtained while interrogating David Headley. It is supported by Indian intelligence agencies inputs.
Reports have mentioned that Headley was in Delhi, Mumbai, Lucknow, Agra and Ahmedabad between 2006 and 2009 and hence the alerts are mainly for these cities."

This information is current as of today, Wed Nov 11 2009 20:36:32 GMT-0800 (PST).
October 29, 2009
The Department of State alerts U.S. citizens to continuing security concerns in India. The U.S. Government continues to receive information that terrorist groups may be planning attacks in India. Terrorists and their sympathizers have demonstrated their willingness and capability to attack targets where Americans or Westerners are known to congregate or visit. This replaces the Travel Alert dated September 12, 2009, and expires on January 28, 2010.
The November 2008 attacks in Mumbai provided a vivid reminder that hotels and other public places are especially attractive targets for terrorist groups. U.S. citizens are urged always to practice good security, maintain a heightened situational awareness and a low profile. Americans are advised to monitor local news reports and consider the level of security present when visiting public places, including religious sites, or choosing hotels, restaurants, entertainment and recreation venues.
U.S. citizens living or traveling abroad are encouraged to register with the nearest U.S. Embassy or Consulate through the State Department’s travel registration website so that they can obtain updated information on travel and security. Americans without Internet access may register directly with the nearest U.S. Embassy or Consulate. By registering, American citizens make it easier for the Embassy or Consulate to contact them in case of emergency. For additional information, please refer to “A Safe Trip Abroad.”
For the latest security information, Americans traveling abroad should regularly monitor the Department’s Internet website where the current Worldwide Caution, Travel Warnings, and Travel Alerts can be found. Up-to-date information on security can also be obtained by calling 1-888-407-4747 toll free in the United States and Canada or, for callers outside the United States and Canada, a regular toll line at 1-202-501-4444. These numbers are available from 8:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m. Eastern Time, Monday through Friday (except U.S. federal holidays). Americans are also encouraged to read the Country Specific Information for India, available on the Embassy’s website and also at the Department’s website.

“India: Israel checks security in Goa
Indian police say travel warnings prompt Israel to inspect security level in city, nearby Chabad centers”
Published: 11.07.09, 22:32 / Israel News
SNIPPET: “Israeli security elements inspected the security level in India’s Goa coast following recent alerts warning of threats to Israelis, the Times of India newspaper reported local security officials as saying.
A senior official with the Indian police said, “They will obviously want to see the security arrangement here after what happened in Mumbai. Mumbai is only 500 km away. And a lot of tourists from Israel visit Goa.” He could not specify how many Israeli officers arrived in the city.
The police official also added that there were two Chabad centers north of Goa that have increased their security measures.
“We are taking every precaution and have made substantial arrangements for the safety of every tourist coming to the state,” he said and added that the Israeli security elements visited those locations.”
Well then, WHAT the heck is THIS all about:
“INTEL TEAM RETURNS HOME AFTER US SNUB” (D.C. Blocking Indian Hot Pursuit of Muslim Terrorists)
Pucker up India. Here it comes. No thanks to the OBAMA Administration.
Ironically built by a Muslim.
They have Pre Tramatic Stress Disorder over there too? I don’t even think India is involved in any wars.
Terrorism...the global jihad has never stopped.
This could get real ugly real fast.
Atleast India gets a warning. We won’t because of Obama attacking Bush; the CIA won’t tell him what is going on (if they did he is clearly on the radical islam side and does not care about the safety of this country) while he continues to diss Israel and the FBI are too busy proclaiming Veterans and good every day Joe Blow, American’s as terrorists.
