National Tour Culminates with Rally in Orlando

 

ORLANDO, FL -- THURSDAY, NOV. 12TH - 6:00 PM - Lake Eola Park

 

(ORLANDO, FLORIDA) - The national, cross-country Tea Party Express II: Countdown to Judgment Day (www.TeaPartyExpress.org) tour has arrived in Orlando, FL for what will be the exciting culmination of a 40-city tour. The Tea Party Express launched from San Diego on October 25th, and has crossed the country holding Tea Party rallies in support of conservative principles.

 

More than 50,000 people have participated in the tea party rallies during this tour alone.

  The Tea Party Express II slogan, “Countdown to Judgment Day” refers to the one-year mark ahead of the 2010 congressional elections.

 

“Tens of thousands of everyday conservative Americans have attended these Tea Party rallies, which are meant to entertain, educate, and most of all unify Americans to oppose the insidious encroachment of government control, highlighted by the hostile takeover of healthcare currently being attempted,” said Joe Wierzbicki, head organizer of the Tea Party Express.

 

 

 

The Tea Party Express II caravan features two 44-foot coaches along with a group of several support vehicles, and will host rallies with conservative speakers and singers. These stops are part of a national tour that has spaned 19 days, 40 cities, and covered more than 8,000 miles.  The tour marks the one-year point from the 2010 elections, when numerous members of Congress will be targeted for defeat as a result of their support of higher deficits, growth in the size and intrusiveness of government, higher taxes, bailouts and more.

First you have to have them published on the Internet. I use a free account at Photobucket. It is easy to set up an account. Here is a link to their homepage - Photobucket

Once you have an account just follow the directions to up load pictures from your computer. Once you have your pictures up loaded all you have to do is hover over a picture you want to put in a post on FR. When you hover over the picture Photobucket automaticaly creats a drop down that has a list of HTML code that you use to post your pictures. In that drop down list choose the third option down. Copy the code there and paste it directly into your FR post.

It sounds complicated but it is very easy and straight foward.

One thing to remember is once you put a picture on Photobucket and then use the code to post the picture here at FR you must leave the picture in that same location. If you decide, in the future, to move the Photo you will break the link here at FR and get the dreaded Red X in the box.

I was there! Where were you?

I spent most of the time hanging out at the FR table where Jim Robinson, etal were. Will try and post some of the pictures I took if I can figure out how to upload them to photobucket, etc.

May have to send some out by email first. :)

Mcmuffin called me a little bit ago from Nevada to find out how the rally went. He had a family reunion to attend out there and was really disappointed that he couldn’t make the rally in Orlando this time (even though he did get to go to the one held in Holly Hill on Wednesday.)

After a great time at dinner with Jim and a lot of other FReepers at the Embassy Suites down the street, we hung out together in a FReeper’s room. I got home about 3 am. :)

The program was wonderful, but I must say Florida Freeper Mike Evers sure was a huge crowd pleaser! But then we knew he would be!

And then there were those great flyovers by none other than our fantastic Florida FReeper Air Force!

I certainly agree! I knew Mike would wow the crowd!

Many Floridians got to hear Mike speak in Sarasota last June when his speech was red meat on the educational side. In other words he informed the crowd about corruption and the kinds of dirty dealings that go on behind the scenes in politics.

Now in Orlando we got to see Mike fire up the crowd to get the job done in 2010! It was obvious the crowd though he was awesome too!

Thanks again for asking me to speak at the rally. Even with all the snafus, we got the job done. Next time, WE need to control the agenda to ensure that all the bases are covered. This is no time to let amateurs lead us into battle.

We’ve lined up Lt. Col. Allen West for an evening fundraising event here in Sarasota Dec. 15. He can win District 22 and take back a seat from the Dems. But he needs $$$ to be viable, and more exposure around the state and the nation. Please mark your calendars now and plan to attend. If you thought I can throw out red meat, wait until you see Col. West toss it out. He makes me look like a choir boy.
