Jon Stewart gives Fox News a well-deserved poke in the eye for fudging the footage, as well as exposing rather clearly its source:

I say that Fox should fire everyone associated with this fraud, for this is nothing less than fraud. The entire reputation of FoxNews is now in question; what credability they had, is now forever tained. So, if Hannity pulled this stunt - sorry Shaun, time to polish that resume' and I hope the radio show pays the bills.

FoxNews has to have a Zero Tolerance policy on this crap; because now they have shown themselves to be as unreliable as their competition - I had a higher opinion of Fox than this. They were number 1; there is simply no reason to pull this crap.

From the comments section;

“Sorry but it is true, Hannity has cut specific sections out of Obama comments then attacked him for the missing pieces on air.

Here are some quick video examples.”

Looks like Hannity has a habit of splicing videos. Or showing just what he wants his audience to see.

I agree.

Fox has to show it will not tolerate this kind of distortion of the truth.

Hannity should have resigned.

1). Hannity is an "opinion" talk show, and very different from "Fox News."
2). The people who showed up on 9/12 were protesting the exact same unconstitutional excesses by our Congress and White House that the people who showed up for Bachman's gig were protesting.
3). Trying to claim that such a programming decision by Hannity's producers somehow implies anything having to do with Fox News' gravitas is just hysterical grandstanding by spineless, gutless RINO wimps who actually give a crap what Jon Stupid and The Daily Kos imbeciles think.

Grow up. Get a spine. Hannity is Opinion, not "news." Grow a brain while you're at it.

I am endlessly amazed at what a cannibalizing pack of frightened lemmings much of the GOP turns out to be. Whether Hannity or Palin or whomever, it seems a large chunk of the GOP sheep-herd is just waiting for a chance to kill and eat their own.

I'm beginning to think that without a Third Party option, this country hasn't got a chance, because the GOP is a bunch of lily-livered, politically correct Chicken Littles who insist on "fighting fair" with a criminal cabal that will burn your house while you sleep as a measure of gratitude for your wimpishness.

Disgusting. So all 7 people who watch Jon Stupid's comedy routine might have an even worse opinion of Sean Hannity. They can join the hundreds of "conservatives" on FreeRepublic who regularly rip Hannity anyway.

Who effing cares? What a pack of losers.

Who cares about your "opinion"? It was assembled "B" roll and had nothing to do with content. Nothing like CNN'c coverage of the Baby Milk Factory or agreeing not cover any of Saddam's brutality in order to maintain their access or Peter Arnett's phony documentary claiming U.S. troops used poisoned gas to kill defectors in Vietnam.

Or Diane Sawyer standing in front of photo of the White House, pretending she was there.

Or anything Dan Rather ever said.

Or 8 years of Bush-smearing lies from the NYT.
