Someone at the RNC Must be Fired Over This.

Let’s keep this simple. Word got out today via Politico that the RNC’s health care package for their employees covers abortions. At the risk of belaboring the obvious, if you at any time have donated to the RNC since 1991 (when this policy apparently took place), some incremental portion of your donation went to the administrative costs of running the RNC, including employee salaries and benefits packages. Part of “benefits packages” in this context is apparently a health care package that pays for abortions.

For thirty years, we have fought tooth and nail to prevent our tax money from being used to pay for abortions. Turns out, we were apparently doing it through donating to the political party that was ostensibly on our side. This betrayal is so fundamental to the majority of people who donate to the RNC that it’s almost unspeakable. I have no doubt that many of the staffers there will miss the point, so allow me to make it clearly: you have caused every person who donated to support your livelihood to become involved in what they perceive to be a grave moral evil.

Well now we know why the RNC hasn’t been real helpful to our cause.

I think the GOP had been in trouble for a long time. Just more revelations of why the party has been so impotent in the last few years. They can’t fight against what they are allowing.

But it’s never too late to get on the right track.

'Now can we say 3rd party????"

Sure, if your goal is to guarantee a permanent Democrat super-majority, say "3rd Party" all you want.

If that's not your goal, it might make more sense to fix the Republican party.

We have to fix the party, going 3rd party will only guarantee Obama the Tyrant another time. By the time he is done, we won’t have a country anymore. The Republican party can be fixed but boy do they have problems. Just when I thought I have seen everything, my jaw literally dropped when I read this. At first I thought it said DNC then I saw it said RNC and I was like WHATTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTT

I agree, it's never too late to get on the right track.

First, the leadership has to be held accountable and then real reform needs to take place. Not everyone in the Republican Party supports this. Imho, we need a true two party system, with clearly delineated differences and positions, not a charade.

That’s why I only give my money to Sarah’s PAC. I don’t even consider myself a Republican, I’m a Conservative, when the Republican party cleans up their damn act, I will come back. In the meantime, I’m happy just being a Conservative
