Schultheis explains: It’s just that Obama is making the U.S. fascist

State Sen. Dave Schultheis, R-Colorado Springs, attempted to clear up the Twitter controversy he ignited by likening the President to one of the September 11 terrorist hijackers. Schultheis took to a friendly venue, Peter Boyles’ talk-radio show, where the soon-to-retire senior-citizen right-wing Schultheis came off as more in tune with contemporary life than the host.

Earlier this week Schultheis tweeted:

“Don’t for a second, think Obama wants what is best for U.S. He is flying the U.S. Plane right into the ground at full speed. Let’s Roll”

“Let’s roll” is what 9/11 United Airlines Flight 93 passenger Todd Beamer called out just before he and his fellow passengers rushed the cockpit in an attempt to take control of the flight. They succeeded in overtaking the hijackers and downing the plane, which was likely headed for the Capitol. Beamer’s “Let’s roll” rallying cry, which was heard on an open cellphone line, was widely cited and later became a battle cry for those fighting Al-Qaeda in Afghanistan.

BOYLES: Listen don’t say you are sorry man.

SCHULTHEIS: I am not saying I am sorry. It is interesting what a 120 characters can do to the world.

BOYLES: All right, front page of the Denver Post.

SCHULTHEIS: Oh my Gosh. Front Page you are kidding me?

BOYLES: Well it is in Denver and the West.

SCHULTEIS: Oh boy.

I have said that before the election Obama reminded me of Hitler, or, more precisely, his followers reminded me of Hitler’s followers. After he had been in office for about six months it hit me that he was really governing more like Mussolini.

And then I saw the headline yesterday about him wanting to “help” the airline industry. Fascism marches on.

This is gonna end very, VERY badly - for pretty much all of us.

Didn’t work out all that well for Mussolini in the end.

I wonder if O will at least make the airlines run on time...

What surprised me was #6 (which I am very sensitive about) but it totally off the radar scene.

It is the biggest of the issues ultimately.

Mussolini, indeed. He had been a leading socialist editor. Then came the Great war In 1915, when Italy enjtered the war, he broke with the international and became a national socialist. He got along by making deals with all the important institutions, including the Church. Corporatism is the proper name for his way of governing. The Fascist Party was simply his instrument for rewarding friends and intimidating enemies. The Big Difference between Mussolini and Obama is that Mussolini was a militarist. In this respect he is more like Wilson and FDR, who revived Wilson’s war socialism to combat the Great Depression.

Yes.

And more here:

As I have been researching definitions of the word over the last year or so, I have found that it is often as difficult to nail down as the word “love”.

History repeats, but seldom identically. There are always differences. Obama is not Mussolini incarnate any more than a cover band is a tribute band.

But the shoe, as I describe it, seems to fit pretty well.

In the end Mussolini came to be looked upon as a buffoon, almost. But he was smart and ruthless, a real godfather type. When I see Obama with his chin stuck out, I think of Benito.

Here is a response I got from CO Senator Schultheis to an e-mail I sent praising his statement >

Dave:

Thanks for your kind words. Refreshing change from the vile...and I mean vile emails I am receiving from the left. The liberal backlash towards me has been extremely vile and vicious, and has been orchestrated by liberal webmedia, Coloradopols and ProgressNowColorado, to name only a couple.

I hope that my words inspire others to think seriously about what the Obama administration is doing to our country. Surrounding himself with those of like minds...self-avowed Communists, Marxists, anti-Capitalists will ruin this great country...and it MUST be stopped. We need more people to boldly stand up to the political correctness that has eaten away at the substructure of our great country.

Join me.and Let’s Roll!!!!

Received numerous emails from TX. GREAT State

Found this in the interview, leftists say

you should be more civil when discussing the president

1) This is standard leftist M.O. - suppression of the telling of the truth.
2) How "civil" was the left with Bush?

Yes, they do squeeeeel. Like a pig caught by the hind leg.

They are like cockroaches scurrying from the light.

The Battle is about:

Light vs Darkness

Truth vs Lies

Freedom vs Subjection

Ultimately I know who wins the battle and it is not the Liars.

Being civil with Communist is and insane approach to the problem.

Because they are never civil nor honest. Any lie works for them.

The reason Totalitarians (whatever they call themselves) hate free people is they can only stay in power with repression.

Sarah Palin, and a few others yet to step up, are Christ’s “winnowing fork”.

Luke 3:17
“His (A)winnowing fork is in His hand to thoroughly clear His threshing floor, and to gather the wheat into His barn; but He will burn up the chaff with (B)unquenchable fire.”

The Senator represents Colorado Springs and your statement resonates very well there.

That is a community in CO that I could live in. The Western Slope also has some places like that. Wholesome honest folks, lots of retired Military.
