I would bet that Sara hasn't decided if she wants to run for POTUS. It could be that she has been as close to it as she ever wants to be! There are a lot of roles she could play without being POTUS.

I think she will NOT run in 2012. As young as she is, she might prefer to wait before even making a decision.

I would love to fly around on Air Force One and live in the White House...but I can't think of anything worse than being POTUS.

Unfortunately, I think I would be better at it than the jerk whose flying around on Air Force Oneurrently.

That canard has been repeated far too often here at FreeRepublic

Then it suprises me that you adress it with irrelevancies rather than sustance. I don't remember mentioning Romney's tenure as governor. I was talking about actual business experience as a draw to voters fixated on a self-destucting economy. Romney was the only candidate who could have offered that. You may choose to note (this is your THIRD opportunity) that I admitted that a McCain Romeny win might have been a worse disaster than Obama. Or that I was careful to point out that a win was not a certainty. What I said was that Romney may have given the Republicans a better chance in that particular emviornment. Now go find the people who are having the argument you are trying to have with me.

I have the bottom half of the McCain-Palin sticker exhibited proudly on the back of my big fat gas guzzling SUV!

“I heard Rush say the only person who reminds him of Reagan was Palin.”

The Wallaces and their MittBots can spin all they want. Rush knows his s*it and he knows Palin is THE conservative.

The spinners need to attack hard and fast as they know once Rush gives his opinion in a few years, it will catapult Palin.

“Nicole Wallace and Schmidt are both snakes who’ve earned their reputations the hard way.”

Don’t forget her husband Mark Wallace who is a huge finance guy on TeamRomney. Don’t be surprised that more bad info doesn’t come out on Mark and Nicolle Wallace.

They have lots of enemies because they are both arrogant POS.

Wishful thinking on your part.

Palin IS going to win the GOP Nomination for the 2012 election.

You obviously haven't thought this through completely, so I'll explain it you. Palin to not do as well in big liberal states like mine. Even among Republicans. And they still usually county more than just about any big Red state in the primaries. That's why Rudy was holding out for the NY win. On top of that many states now have open primaries, where tons of liberals are going to show up specifically to vote for whatever candidate has the best chance of beating Palin. Remember when Rush told us to do the same thing with Hillary Clinton? I agree that Palin is the front-runner right now, but its nowhere near the sure thing you think it is.

Next time try reading the whole thread before posting. You just might learn something, but I'm not counting on it.

The one criticism I would make about Sarah is that she was not very media savvy in 2008. She was too busy doing her job to notice that most MSM reporters are bigots and closed-minded acolytes of the Democrats’ left wing.

Hopefully she has learned how to guard against their schemes. We’ll find out next week.

"A CBS source close to Couric responded last night, "The interviews speak for themselves."

Well in that case, there's no problem releasing the complete unedited tapes, .....is there Ms. Couric? ......Katie? ..........why are you running out the door, Katie?

I think Steve Schmidt, Nicole Wallace, Mark Salter, and John Weaver should join the Dems.

Any Republican Campaign they work for in the future in persona non grata. These people are idiots.

Considering how the DC Establishment defended RINO Dede in the NY-23, don’t be surprised next week to see RNC operatives and even some GOP Congresscritters take the side of Steve Schmidt, Nicole Wallace, Mark Salter, and John Weaver.

I believe that Sarah hurt the campaign because of the contrast she presented to McCain. Mext to her positive enthusiasm, McCain looked even more inept, dull and humorless than he already is.

My wife and I went to an airport rally where both of them appeared and then hit the rope line. McCain came in our direction, but Sarah went down the line the other direction. We got to shake hands with Old Senator Half-Baked, it was like the old football adage about a tie game being like kissing your sister. No electricity....at all.

With Sarah, it was like she was one of us...she reminds me of my cousin, sometimes my daughter. Old John reminded me of Washington, government, committee meetings, phoney-baloney and self-importance. It was year for running against Washington, and we had this ultimate Potomac insider calling himself a “maverick” by which he clearly meant that Republicans and conservatives are often wrong.

...while Rush is a fan of Palin’s, he is definitely not a Palinite.

...there is no point in alienating 60% of his viewers a full year before anyone starts announcing a candidacy.

So, by your logic, Rush is out of step with a full 60% of conservative Americans, and is afraid to alienate them by admitting that he doesn't think that Palin can carry the day in 2012?

You're telling me that one of the smartest conservatives in America doesn't grasp what the overwhelming majority of the conservative rank and file does?

I don't think you've read Rush correctly. For one thing, he never, ever, ever endorses any candidate. You'd know that, if you'd listened to him long enough. Rush publicly supports conservatism and conservative ideals, not individuals.

The one and only American politician that I have ever heard Rush endorse, is Ronald Reagan. He'll do the same for Sarah Palin after her term as President is over.

If Mitt was a VP candidate, the McCain rallys would have taken place on a street corner under a street light.

Not close, that is not what Michael Reagan has said.

And I say Palin is the closest since Reagan and I worked
at his headquarters here when he ran for Gov.
Met him and saw him many times in person as Gov. and Pres.
