Showing once again that there is no depth to which he will not sink to further destroy the United States of America and her people, Dictator and American Stalin Barack Hussein Obama has decided to inflict the mastermind of the 9/11 NYC attacks, Khalid Shaikh Mohammed, back into and upon the same city where eight years ago the slaughter of Americans occurred.
Obama has directed that his fellow Muslim Mohammed be tried in a civilian court with all US Constitutional rights that are afforded to American citizens. Instead of having the military conduct this beast’s trial, Obama is rubbing the noses of the 9/11 victims, their families and all of the American people in the dirt—again. Now almost daily, Obama and his Marxist goons are working overtime to shock the American people into increasingly forced submission...

You are right.
Setting New York for the trials has absolutely no, not one, upside for Obama, and more risks than can be imagined. Anything could go wrong, and he and Holder will be held accountable.
Let me list just a few:
A long, drawn out trial...say three or four years. How long will Americans tolerate that? Along with the propaganda from the defense, media and apologists that could make this trial Obama’s downfall.
The possibility of either a coordinated terror attack on NYC, or a lone free-lance jihadist blowing people up. These guys were, after all, in the employ of Osama Bin Laden.
The assassination of a judge, juror or witness. Would you serve on a jury, especially if you were not given anonymity.
Point from above; how will a jury ever be seated without anonymity?

The trial will get a great deal of publicity, and Americans will begin to refocus on 9-11 and Daniel Pearl. Their anger will begin to resurface. They will soon want justice and they'll want it now. It will become visceral, and Obama and his bumbling goons will be seen as standing in the way.
In the end, he'll be convicted for sure, but our ridiculous court system will be exposed as the wrong way to deal with these people and the justice we seek will be in jeopardy every step of the way. Obama's target here is the Bush Administration, and Bush will once again be proven right.
He may be trying to dismantle the U.S. military.
