Call to Action Alert: Come watch AG Holder's Senate testimony Wednesday 11/18
911FamiliesForAmerica.org ^ | November 16, 2009 | Debra Burlingame

Posted on 11/16/2009 3:54:54 AM PST by Sergeant Tim

On Wednesday, November 18, 2009, Attorney General Eric Holder will attempt to explain his decision to bring war criminal Khalid Sheikh Mohammed to trial in Manhattan's federal courtroom six blocks from Ground Zero.

This is our Action Alert to you:

Americans, it is time to unite, not as Republicans or Democrats, not as Conservatives or Liberals or Progressives.

It is time to unite as CITIZENS.

President Barack Obama and Attorney General Eric Holder have forgotten that their chief duty is the safety and the security of the American people.

IT IS TIME FOR US TO REMIND THEM.

AG Eric Holder will appear before the Senate Judiciary Committee on Wednesday, November 18, to testify about the administration’s plan to bring Khalid Sheikh Mohammed back to the scene of Al Qaeda’s greatest single atrocity–Ground Zero–where he will brag about the slaughter of 3,000 innocent men, women and children and his lawyers will tell a “jury of his peers” that HE is a victim of the U.S. Government.

This is insanity.

Please join 9/11 Families for a Safe & Strong America, firefighters of TheBravest.com and Keep America Safe in Washington, D.C. to tell Eric Holder and members of Congress,

“WE WILL FIGHT YOU ALL THE WAY!”

We know this is short notice….but that’s how the Administration planned it…they are counting on you just sitting this out, yelling at the cable news coverage of this outrage instead of showing up and changing the narrative in the MSM echo chamber.

Where: Dirksen Senate Office Building, Room G-50 Constitution Avenue and 1st Street, NE U.S. Capitol, Washington, D.C.

When: Wednesday, November 18, 9:30 am

Who: Attorney General Eric Holder (testimony)

9/11 Families for a Safe &K Strong America is partnering with KeepAmericaSafe.com and theBravest.com in this effort.

Note: 100,000 people have co-signed our letter to President Obama.

Giving them a military trial would elevate the dirt bags to a status they don't deserve. They should be treated like low-life muggers and rapist.

They should be tried by a jury of ordinary Americans and then...EXECUTED like the common criminals they are.

( President Barack Obama and Attorney General Eric Holder have forgotten that their chief duty is the safety and the security of the American people. IT IS TIME FOR US TO REMIND THEM. )

This statement assumes that these people actually believed that the citizens safety was their chief duty or their duty at all.
Nothing either has done this past year would indicate that was a correct assumption.

They havent forgotten their primary duty is to protect Americans, they just dont consider that their primary duty.

Neither of these clowns has a clue as to how to do their job. This is waht happens when you have an affirmative action President.

I am suspecting that the administration wants to throw the trial and this scum be back out on the street. It would be consisted with the America hate prevalent in this administration and the Groveler in Chief.

Holder told us, in essence, that he’s sure he’ll be able to get a conviction on KSB wherever he’s tried.

Don’t know about you folks, but I’ve got a wee bit of suspicion about the judgment of an attorney general who refuses to bring about an indictment of a politically-connected & corrupt governor of New Mexico; refuses to bring an indictment of members of a politically-protected pressure group caught on tape physically intimidating potential voters at a polling place; and who once served as Marc Rich’s buttboy in shady contributions-for-pardon scandal at the tail end of the Clinton era.

This just may be the issue that we can use to bring down the Obama Administration....

BS!

They are not ordinary criminals.

They are war criminals and enemy combatants. And should be treated as such in the war Al Queda and Osama Bin Laden and Islamic Jihadists have declared on America.

They do not deserve the rights of Americans. But that is what you and Obama want to give them as a gift for attacking America.

How is an attack on the Pentagon a civilian crime?
It isn’t.

Obama and terrorist sympathizer Eric Holder are wrong, but then Obama did say in his book, when the political winds shift, he would stand Muslim.

You couldn't be more wrong with this thinking. Affording them a civilian trial automatically bestows upon them Constitutional rights only American citizens are privy to. This means all information extracted from them through water boarding may very well be thrown out because it is considered torture by those in power. The United States will be forced to divulge classified information as to how interrogations were conducted. Doing so can cause serious damage to our national security. The terrorists mere presence in NYC will be a tremendous security risk. All these risks could be avoided with a military tribunal at GITMO.

They are worse than rapists and muggers. They are enemy combatants. The former two do not seek destruction of he United States. The latter is does seek to destroy the U.S. The latter is at war with the U.S.

The whole purpose of this travesty is to put the U.S. on trial before the world. BO and his fellow socialists despise the U.S. and want to show how evil American is by exposing all the methods used to extract information. it will forever weaken our defenses against terrorists and and only embolden the enemy.

You must be joking! They are not ordinary criminals and as such do not deserve any constitutional rights.

They are war criminals and enemy combatants and should be tried by military tribunal.

I think this is a big gamble for Obama, though I don’t credit the guy for having any stones, I maintain that he continues to be clueless. He thinks he is isolated because this is Holder’s game.

There are so many wild cards at play. So many things that could potentially go sideways.

If anything goes wrong at this show in the AM the impeachment proceedings will begin after lunch.

Great. Because I have yet to hear his justification for NOT having military trials. I’ve heard his reasoning about why he wants civilian trials, but never heard why military trials are off the table.

IMO, the argument isn’t and shouldn’t be about whether or not the USA/NY can “handle” all aspects of these cases (though they’d like to make it that), but rather WHY, specifically, they chose against and justify NOT having military trials.

Since this room change was posted on Friday, the 13th, the same day that Holder made his announcement of the trials for terrorists, there had to be prior co-operation (collusion) with the Judiciary committee members/staff, for when to make the decision public.

Does anyone reading this believe that either of President Bush’s AGs ever had any co-operative actions with any Congressional committee?

SDG-50 and G-50 are one in the same. They moved it to the larger venue after someone realized they might need more room.

$$$$$

That was my point. Collusion between the cabinet officer who is going to “testify” and the Judiciary committee chairman and his staff.

“low-life muggers and rapist”

Enemy combatants are on the same plane as muggers and rapists? They should be afforded the same rights as American citizens? Muggers and rapists rarely receive the death penalty. Using your logic, they should get a few years in prison and be released.

These are WAR CRIMINALS!! They do not belong in a civil trial. They are foreigners who harmed Americans in an ACT OF WAR.

Obama proves daily he hates this country, if there was a hair on his head that was ethical he would resign the presidency! Since we know that won’t happen, the American people MUST fight the fanatical left at every step.

I agree that saying it's a war and treating it like a police action is a sure loser. If one assumes 911 was an act of war, where is the targeted government responsible for the act?

Every time an IUD goes off in Iraq, one should go off in Tehran.

Until the mullahs see that war is indeed hell, they'll keep it up, smirking and smiling at the PC enemy that's too nice to win.

There was no government to attack. These were terrorists. It would have been much different if it had been a country instead of Islamic extremists. Check with Japan for references.

I’m not a military expert and detest the political correctness my country follows but this administration is out of control. 9/11 was an act of war and should be treated as such. Allowing terrorists access to our court system and extending citizen’s rights to them is just plain diabolical. It reeks of ulterior motives. Why don’t they leave military matters to the military?

KSM will have the stage and the spotlight and the USA will appear weaker and invite more attacks. What other country or administration would do this? None!!

And, I think you meant IED’s instead of IUD’s.
