A cocktail of three flu viruses are reported to have mutated into a single pneumonic plague, which it is believed may be far more dangerous than swine flu. The death toll has reached 189 and more than 1 million people have been infected, most of them in the nine regions of Western Ukraine.
President of Ukraine Viktor Yushchenko has called in the World Health Organisation and a team of nine specialists are carrying out tests in Kiev and Lviv to identify the virus. Samples have been sent to London for analysis.
President Yushchenko said: “People are dying. The epidemic is killing doctors. This is absolutely inconceivable in the 21st Century.”
In a TV interview, the President added: “Unlike similar epidemics in other countries, three causes of serious viral infections came together simultaneously in Ukraine – two seasonal flus and the Californian flu
“Virologists conclude that this combination of infections may produce an even more aggressive new virus as a result of mutation.”

I think H1N1 was the preview of coming attractions- they are using global pandemics to do... something- I am not sure what yet (global one-world government, I suspect)
This is 2009, there is no Californian flu, it would just be called the sheeple flu. The Cali flu is too harsh, and hurts the migrants that call this beautiful place home.
Something not right about this report. Million people infected - 189 die -— not unusual. And ‘pneumonic plague’ - well that plague was caused by a bacteria not a virus. It is a type of Bubonic plague.
This whole report seems greatly embellished... sounds like a regular course of what we have seen from Swine flu to me.
I guess the current h1n1 scare isn’t turning enough people to support government takover of healthcare, so roll out another apocalypse.

189 deaths per million cases extrapolated to the whole world population is about 1.1 million deaths. After that, the epidemic would be done.
Nearly a million people, worldwide, die from Malaria every year.

Actually, most flu vaccines, including the H1N1, are manufactured outside the United States. The profit margin on vaccines in general is so small that US pharmaceutical companies don’t bother with them. There are exceptions, of course, but generally speaking that’s the deal.
we discussed that last night around the dinner table; mass population reduction would seem to be the goal; only problem is........they seem to have released the Genie from the bottle but can’t quite control it. If I were a Global Marxist, I’d want to wipe out the U.S. middle class; instead they’ve only successfully targeted third world countries. Very puzzling.

the statement ... “A cocktail of three flu viruses are reported to have mutated into a single pneumonic plague, ...” is not scientifically sound per se. There is not (seemingly) a single virus with recombinant DNA from three viruses killing people; likely there are multiple concurrent infections, bacterial and viral, that are killing people.
Should there indeed be a new or “novel” pathogen out there as a single new strain, this would be real news.
I doubt the author is sufficiently schooled in epidemiology to fully comment.
