I got 25 out of 30.
It appears that the test scoring was screwed up, probably because I have the NoScript extension in Firefox.
29/30. The only one I got wrong was the total number of unratified amendments.
Your country, from the start(perhaps it has lost it's luster), was mankind's greatest experiment on restrictions of the state and individual liberty.
That is the only reason why I know as much as I do. My friends and fam. just roll their eyes when I go on my 'the creation of the USA was an extraordinary phenomena for mankind' rants, but they just don't understand.
There are a lot of potential questions. My only interest in the quiz was that there seems to be a great many Americans who don't know the basics of American history. There is such a thing as basic verses trivial knowledge.
Not knowing what state Vice President Charles Curtis was from is excusable. Not knowing that James Polk was the first former Speaker of the House to be elected to the office of the President of the United States (even though this question just came up recently when folks started to discuss Newt as a potential candidate), is a generally acceptable level of deficiency in ones education.
However not knowing who was President during the War between the States(U.S. Civil War) demonstrates a severe deficiency in Historical knowledge for any North American Resident let alone a U. S. Citizen.
Interesting stuff. Visit

for details.
29...missed the one about the number of amendments not ratified.
I hate trick questions.
Oh yeah!
Remember that there is no end to tooth-gnashing ignorance.
One of the ones that rankles me are those who believe Vietnam to be the bloodiest war in US history.
America’s greatest president: George Kennedy.
When asked the trick question of how many US presidents were not buried in the United States (ans: Carter, H.W. Bush, Clinton, W. Bush, and Obama), the most frequent wrong answer is “George S. Patton”.
This one you can blame on many sources including:
1. Hollywood's portrayal of Vietnam Veterans
2. Communist Party of the States of America(CPUSA)
3. Soviet Union (they were the peace movement with many willing and unwitting accomplices including John Kerry)
4. Media (Walter Cronkite in particular)
5. Bertrum Russell and the so called international war crimes tribunals
This is just a partial list.
