The media is telling you that healthcare is “Dead on Arrival” and won’t pass so you can stand down and needn’t worry. In the Senate, Harry Reid intends to introduce and pass the Bill this week! Maybe as early as tomorrow!

Right. I got an email from them that pointed back to their organizational site, so that’s what I used for the url, but the content itself is an excerpt from an email they sent out. I have since looked for it elsewhere, including searches on the url, but I’m thinking now it was only in the email. That’s one reason why I’m looking for independent verification. Sorry about the confusion. My bad.

The reading of the bill would not be a filibuster type action. The rules call for the reading of the bill but this little inconvience is usully suspended by a voice vote. One No vote and the bill must be read into the record.

What Coburn needs to do is bring along the entire tax code and any other law or bill the healthcare bill refers to and go to that bill and read that section - then come back to the healthcare bill. Yep could take weeks! LOL

The Senate is different from the House, so Coburn may be able to pull this off - he must go to the wall on this one.
