It’s cheaper to let people die then treat them...
While I agree with the proposal to reduce the frequency of mammography, and there is some research indicating that the annual PSA and prostate check is not going to pick up a lot more cancers, unfortunatel all we have regarding cancer is early detection and prevention.
The next thing will be the sigmoidoscopy over the age of 50, not being necessary.
Research is showing benefits that go beyond just lowering cholesterol for people taking statins such as Lipitor.
Also, for the treatment of pre-hypertension.

There’s pretty good science behind this. In March of this year, the lead article in the New England Journal of Medicine looked at death rates from prostate cancer between men who were screened and treated for prostate cancer and those who weren’t. No difference in the two groups after 10 years of follow up.

Too young to be diagnosed, too old to be treated. Death is the way of the Obama Communists. It is about control. Well, we’ve got control, too, 2nd amendment control.

These were supposedly based on independent studies done at Harvard, Berkly, etc. Guess where the funding for these studies came from.

Well duh!!!!
The government is simultaneously the biggest medical insurer AND the institution that writes the guidelines on what should and shouldn't be standard practice. They're not necessarily doing this to allow private insurers an out. They're doing this so that Medicare and Medicaid can avoid paying for 10 years worth of medical screening for each and all of their insured.
We've already learned that Medicare and Medicaid deny more claims than any other major insured...at a nearly 2-to-1 clip. This will just allow them to deny more claims. This shouldn't be news: where did we think the $500 billion in cuts would come from?!?!?!

That’s exactly what China has done through mandatory abortion. At least one of the Obamanation’s czars supports that concept for us.

What about those men and women who are in a high risk group because a member of their family had Breast Cancer or Prostate Cancer?
The words "high risk" alone are enough to warrant early screening.

When my last antigen test came back(.2), it implied that my prostate had been removed. Why in the world would I take the test then?

What business is it of that pipsqueak if I go every other day for a prostate exam!?That qualifies as pleasure, not healthcare.

I heard that Barney Frank will give you one for free. ...I also heard he could do the free exam with no hands.
Aren't they changing the name of a prostrate exam to "Government help check"? It's the same concept.

Dear White House;
Exactly how many prostate exams will $480,000 per month pay for, or $5,760,000 per year? Well, that's just what Nazi Pelosi spends on her taxpayer provided luxury jet plane so she can go home and back. (Note: My employer does not pay my way to work, or my way home, and doesn't furnish a vehicle).
Nazi Pelosi spends $60,000 per trip of our money, and yet you state that a prostate exam is "wasteful"?
OK, ok...let's throw in taking Air Force One, and all of it's security and contingency staff to New York for a date; or a "flyover" for a photo opp; Not to mention the numerous "Apology Tour '09" and sapling-planting trips the kenyan is taking on a regular basis.
Remember obama von zippers favorite term - "DEFICIT NEUTRAL" - well why don't we start with all of those things and 30+ czars exhorbitant salaries before we start talking medicare cutbacks.
And, I'm sure the trillions you've got stashed in "obamaescrow" would pay for plenty prostate AND mammogram exams.
Finally, how do we know you're stupid...anyone trying to get a bogus bill like healthcare rammed down our throats wouldn't then go around boasting about all of the things it WON'T pay for.
A taxaper $60,000. Folks, that is $480,000 per month and that is an annual cost to the taxpayers of $5,760,000.

All I want to know is whether he gets screened and Michelle-ma-Belle gets tested every year????
Right! Nuff said, but don't hold your breath waiting for any reporter to ask that question.
