CNN Poll: 61% Oppose Tax-Funded Abortions, 63% Oppose All or Most Abortions
Washington, DC -- As Congress remains embroiled in a massive debate over whether to force Americans to pay for abortions through the new government-run health care programs, a new CNN poll finds 61 percent oppose government funding abortions with public dollars.
It also found 63 percent of Americans say abortion should be illegal in all cases or only in a few cases while just 36 percent say abortion should be legal in most cases or in all cases. http://www.LifeNews.com/nat5677.html

I would go even further. I oppose all tax-funded projects unless its related to post offices, roads, courts, army, navy, and patent offices. If its not explicitly named in Article I, its not allowed.
I don't see abortion or health care in the US Constitution.

More bad news for Pelosi-Care. The worst part is that pro-life people like myself are against it anyway, even though it supposedly exludes abortions. The prospects for Pelosi-Care go from bad to worse if they put abortion back in (which leftists will insist on).

The “right to privacy” is in the emanations of the penumbra of the 1st, 4th, and 5th amendments donchaknow.
But somehow it doesn’t extend to my PRIVATE FINANCIAL information when it comes to the IRS or taxes.

This is fantastic news. The President, Nancy, Harry and their henchman have opened the eyes of the Country to ALL liberal beliefs and their flimsy foundations. The Country also has learned that the policies espoused by the left for over a generation are based on fiction. I honestly believe blacks are really republicans if they woud take the time to discard the hateful and bullying methods of their so-called leaders. Hispanics are also basically republicans in belief. The Conservatives need a populist like Reagan (God bless him). Sarah Palin may be the ticket. Ever since there have been elites, they always attack the populists as stupid and everything else. Think about Nancy and Harry and compare them to Sarah Palin. Enough said!

"CNN Poll: 61% Oppose Tax-Funded Abortions, 63% Oppose All or Most Abortions" Let me get this straight now, more people oppose all or most abortions than oppose tax-funded abortions?

Maybe the people that would allow for abortions in the case of rape or incest want the government to cover that in the healthcare bill. That is the only explanation I can think of for the discrepancy.

The people who allow exceptions for abortions in the case of rape or incest are saying SOME babies may be killed because of the identity of their fathers.

Yes it is a very inconsistent position. It seems an easy answer for a complicated problem. Of course, that is what any abortion is, a seemingly easy answer.

That's the first thing I noticed as well. That means that 2% of people are opposed to abortions, period, but are in favor of paying for them with tax dollars.
I'm not sure where they found that 2%, but...
