Look at that wonderful (handpicked) diversity!
I found it by searching Obama pizza. lol
Kinda like an Oprah show, where she bribes her audience to ‘love’ her by handing out ‘goodies’ all the time....lol. Of course, Obama’s gift would be cameras so they could take pics of him....(eye roll). It’s always about him.
Wow! I don’t recall seeing those images before.
btt
THANK YOU!
lol... what an oaf!
“The point of my post was that your information is wrong, and it’s definetly not what I saw in my 20 years and I don’t think it stands up to scrutiny. According to my source the population of blacks in the 18-24 year old age group is 11.87% (2006). The percentage of blacks joining the military is 12.82% (2007). That’s not a lot of difference”
Well, lets see - I said there was a higher percentage of minorities in the military. Even looking just at blacks, 12.82 is higher than 11.87 last time I checked, so apparently I am correct.
But now you’ve forced me to do research to confirm what I already know. Wikipedia says as of 2006, we are 74% white, or 26% minority. This link to a DOD report says the military was 35.9% minority in 2007.
Of course there are alot of minorities in the military, and of course the average age is very low....ergo, there are indeed lots of potential BHO supporters in the military. That’s all I said...I don’t know why this surprises people...the military is not pure republican, sorry.

I feel so sorry for the Troops serving under this narcissist.:(
How on earth did they find 1500 Democrats in the military?
The military is younger than the general population, and certainly has more minorities than the general population...all Democrat demographics.
Also, people in the military experience the illusion of government provided services - health care, housing, gubmint run PX and commissary....especially true if stationed in Korea, where almost nobody is allowed to live on the economy.
Not everybody joins for the right reasons, and certainly not everybody works out in the military, and it is certainly not free of liberals, especially in the lower ranks.
I would like to see a crowd photo, however. It seems his military crowds are becoming increasingly monochromatic!
I copied your orginal post to be sure we were on the same page and on review, I admit I may have misconstrued your original point.
You’re right, there are 1% more blacks in the military than the general population. You’re pretty observant to be able to pick that out. I guess now we’re down to arguing what is “a lot of minorities”. My bigoted mind goes straight to blacks when talking minorites, but there are a lot of hispanics, no doubt about it. So, in order promote good FReeper relations, I will defer and say that the 10% difference in general population and military population is, indeed, “a lot”.
And, in the process of doing my rebuttal research, I found several articles about the declining number of military members calling themselves Republicans.
lol...
Flyer: that snake does not look vicious enough to compete. My first though was rabid dog (post #152)...preferably, foaming at the mouth.
Maybe that could be the photoshop: instead of pizza... foam.
“he told them he was increasing military pay.” as if he can. Only Congress can do that.
