This is great news. Assuming Rudy can put together a coherent message on social issues, he’d be a great candidate in 2012.
There were only two people last election cycle that made the American Left stark-raving mad. (Yes, I know they’re stark-raving mad every day, but waaaaaaaay more than usual.)
Those two people were Sarah Palin and Rudy Guiliani. I suspect it will continue to be those two into 2012.
Senator Giuliani would be a fantastic veep for Palin. The two years in the senate would be just about perfect for that.
