Not everyone believes it. All that argument does is implicitly remove the people who don't from consideration as part of civil society.

NOT everyone believes in the story of evolution, and the attempt is to remove any and all from their uncivil society. Now that would exclude you of course because you have maintain majority of civility.

How many more besides me do you need to exclude so that you do not smear them in the process of making that statement?

Because they’re mutually exclusive. Death and suffering is essential to evolution but the Bible teaches death and suffering in humans, plants, and animals is a symptom of man’s sin. Because of that sin we’re separated from God and require a perfect sacrifice which was provided by Christ. If death and suffering were just a natural process whereby things are made better, Christ wouldn’t have to die and our god would be a big jerk.

God created a world and called it good. He told us he did it in 6 days and that it was perfect. Man messed it up so God sent a second Adam to redeem the world. That redemption will be manifest when Christ returns again.

I don’t know. Do you believe tax breaks are a grant from the government? Do you believe the people’s money is theirs first?

That doesn’t prove that creation and evolution can’t co-exist, especially in consideration of God’s infiniteness.

Six days to God could be millions of years.

Yes it does prove that. You’re just not paying attention because you’ve already made up your mind.

We’ve both already made up our minds; I said that from the beginning. I haven’t brought up my beliefs in this thread and have tried to suspend them while wanting to learn a little more about yours.

Saying that site proves it doesn’t prove anything. If I missed something please point it out.

“That doesn’t prove that creation and evolution can’t co-exist, especially in consideration of God’s infiniteness.” [excerpt]
Darwinian Evolution and biblical Creation make contradictory claims.

Why I rejected ‘theistic evolution’

“Six days to God could be millions of years.” [excerpt]
Two points.

1: God is outside of time and is not subject to its constraints. (days and years are human terms)

2: God, with his own finger wrote, six days and Moses understood those to be regular days. (if Moses had misunderstood and God [being all knowing/omnipotent] had not corrected that misunderstanding, He would have intentionally deceived Moses which would have been no different than lying)
