See quote towards the end of the story from Ron Kaufman, former adviser to Mitt Romney's 2008 campaign.

That would be...Ron Kaufman of the RNC.

As in...Ron Kaufman, who worked for Bush 43 and has been an influential Romney adviser since at least 2006.

I used to like Romney. He is quickly proving all of the charges against him. Ultimately, Romney is a great proponent of fratricide as a campaign tactic and he is so easy to see behind it, that he looks like he is a student of the Obama tactical school of politics.

I am sick of the politics of destroying our own. It just sucks.

“She would have to be somebody’s Pygmalion project,” he said.

The author of this condescending throwaway line might do well to consider the character of Eliza Doolittle.

Good job Ron. Just keep pi$$ing off middle/mainstream/flyover America. That will work real well for your boy Romney.

I fear the "R" stablishment will foist B Jindal upon us next "S"election.

He started out as a great Gov, for about a month. Now he is a do nothing 24/7 campaigner, not totally unlike the current pres__ent without ID TROTUS.

“Pat Buchanan proving once again he is a GASBAG!”

The article didn’t quote Pat Buchanan, it quoted Bruce Buchanan. The article said he is a presidential historian at the University of Texas. I’ve never heard of him before.

Romney is liberal, RINO slime but NRO & beck sure loves him. Disappointed in both.

A bit OT, is there a thread on Sarah's interview with oreilly? I missed it but assume she did fantastic.

We must not have Romney surrogates attack Palin, but it is OK to have a web site continually posting Palin surrogates attacking Romney. That’s different.

All looks yellow to the jaundiced eye!

Where oh where is Romney of late? Has anyone but me noticed his conspicuous absence from the National Spotlight and not even issuing comments on major legislation such as O'Bozzo's Death Care, the Fort Hood attack, the decision to try KSM in a civilian court? Wassup with that?

Love him or not, (and like all RINO's I have mixed feelings about Rudi and it depends on the day or issue which emotion he exerts) I'm glad he is considering running for the Senate in NY. This will keep Romney and--the other RINO contender--Huck on their toes

See quote towards the end of the story from Ron Kaufman, former adviser to Mitt Romney's 2008 campaign....Romneybots bash Palin again

Horse Manure. Kaufman said "Once you’re painted into the picture fairly or, mostly unfairly, changing that perception is the hardest thing to do." Ed Goas said “There’s a certain amount of elitism in this town...Most of middle America did not go to an Ivy League school and they work hard and play by the rules: Those are the people that she connected with.” Hardly bashing.

Buchanan...I'm assume asshat Pat...Not a Republican said "She would have to be somebody’s Pygmalion project."

Did you read the article?

If the Mittster would just stand up and be counted ON ANYTHING, maybe he would give people a reason to stand down. Until then, sorry.

I see him having made some mistakes, but I also see him standing up for a lot of things.

More so or less so, that about sums up everyone in politics.

Such data is not relevant to Pat Buchanan derangement syndrome.
