Hopenhagen. . .this from WND a few days ago. Is this 'postponed'or what? This all should be 'surreal'and while not surprised at the individual inclinations/persuasions here; am stunned at the corporate coalescing to faciliate. . .

What is it with these corporations begging for taxes to "solve" a "problem" that isn't a problem?

Are they being blackmailed?

I stopped buying Pepsi products when that lady exec used her ...eh... “social finger” to designate the United States.

If this article is true, I’ve bought my last Coca Cola product.

Say it ain’t so, Mean Joe.

I’ve gave up Coke a while back.

I drink Kool-aid mostly now. I can control the amount of sugar in them. And it’s real sugar not high fructose corn syrup. That or green tea.

And I just discovered Almond Brisk as a milk substitute. Doesn’t break out my skin. Tastes sweet, but I don’t see any artificial sugars in it.

Looks like we've a lot of different things to boycott. It doesn't do any good to just pick out one "villain" and continue to patronize the rest......

Wall Street Journal??

Where does the 'editorial staff go from here?'

Seems in 'another time frame' this has already happened and we are just a bit slow at catching up. Like to think 'point of power' in present time; but the weight here, is heavy and gravitation 'is what it is'.

OK; erase THAT negative thought. . .and let us continue to marshall our defense and offense. . .and move forward.

You and I will pay the taxes.

That means less money to buy Coke or other products. They are hurting themselves in the end with a slower economy.

Apparently modern corporate management really is as stupid as I thought.

I have bought my last Coca Cola.

I am so into coca cola! Want that last one to be 'it'. . .but not sure. Am wondering, too; who are and 'what about' the hundreds of other companies/corpoations signing on here; beyhond those mentioned. Thought 'perhaps'; doubt that one could cut them all off...but will check more closely at 'who' and 'how' to make an impact here!

And feeling a great deal of hostility at these 'bona fide', great American- or so we thought - corporate establishments.

Coke was the first to cave in to the "Kumbayah Crowd" back in the sixties:

"I'd like to teach the world to sing"

They always jump on whatever liberal bandwagon happens to be passing through.

Its a global company in a global economy. You’ll buy things that have no apparent ties to Coca Cola corp but the money will still go to them. They may own things as diverse as steel mills and tuna canneries all over the world.

The “real” Dr. Pepper, not the regular DP you buy at the grocery store, is made and bottled in Dublin, Texas, USA. If y’all haven’t quenched you’re thirst with the “real” stuff, you haven’t lived. It’s still made with cane sugar as called for in the original recipe. The few businesses (Chicken Express for one) who sell it will advertise it as Dublin Dr. Pepper and people will drive out of their way to get it. Fun reading the history of it at link.

Looks like it's Diet Pepsi for me..

`I like the Walrus best,' said Alice: `because you see he was a little sorry for the poor oysters.'

`He ate more than the Carpenter, though,' said Tweedledee. `You see he held his handkerchief in front, so that the Carpenter couldn't count how many he took: contrariwise.'

`That was mean!' Alice said indignantly. `Then I like the Carpenter best--if he didn't eat so many as the Walrus.'

`But he ate as many as he could get,' said Tweedledum.

Don’t forget to check what bottled water you drink - Pepsi and Coke are in that marketplace too.

Perfect. Corporate bureaucracies are just as dense as government ones.

I'm afraid that's an accurate assessment. Once they've determined that "global warming" is the "in" thing, the PR department swings into action; money is appropriated, reputations made, and promotions handed out. You're not going to turn that ship on a dime.

Have been sending e-mails re this story which is gaining some momentum; at least in 'blogdom' which means Fox News should be ready by middle of next week; if not before. (Have to line up the 'balance' for interviews, no doubt).

Do hope, this is making Al's head spin out of control with accompanying 'karma'. . .

Meantime, yes; story could use some 'bumps' and pings. . .

Thinking of copying it and placing it on car windshields of those who carry Obama stickers. . .and stick under mailbox flag of those you 'know' are Obamanauts. Also, an easy sharing - place inside Al's latest book on 'global warming'. . .off to the bookstore! Everybody!
