Vietnam veteran robbed, killed on his way to deposit VFW money
William Burtner had helped raise money for WWII vets' trip to Washington
Army veteran William Burtner survived Vietnam and dedicated his life to helping other veterans.
On Monday, Burtner was about to enter a bank in Midlothian to deposit money that the south suburb's Veterans of Foreign Wars Post 2580 had raised during a benefit.
He never made it inside.
Burtner, 65, was assaulted and robbed outside the bank. He died Wednesday night in Advocate Christ Medical Center in Oak Lawn.
An autopsy Thursday concluded Burtner died of hypertensive cardiovascular disease and fractured ribs from the assault, the Cook County medical examiner's office said. It ruled the death a homicide.
Burtner was about to deposit proceeds from a VFW benefit last weekend for Chicago area World War II veterans so they could visit a war memorial in Washington, said Katherine Foss, a family friend...........

More black-on-white crime. It’s an epidemic in this country. This guy was 65, he had cancer and had been undergoing chemo, so he was no doubt in a weakened state. These thugs probably could have just taken the money box from him and ran, but they had to give him a beat-down. We see this over and over and over again. We just saw another conviction for it in the Anne Pressly case in Little Rock. Blacks are not satisfied to rob and rape anymore. Nearly all black-on-white crime involves a horrific beat-down. There was a case the other day of a black guy beating down a 101 yr. old white woman in a purse-snatch robbery.

There is a media black-out on these stories, so they’re hard to find or else it’s hard to find out the race of the perpetrator without doing some research. They’re happening in multiple cities and towns every day.
It’s gotten worse since zero was elected. Blacks think they’re in charge now and that they have carte blanche to do whatever they want to whites.
The only way to stop these lower-than-animals is to shoot them dead. They are getting worse, not better. The media is their accomplice, as is the defense bar and a huge slew of NGOs and politicians.

Time for the “Rainbow Brigade” in Chicago to condemn this and donate some of their “shakedown” money to the VFW and this man’s family for services.

Yeah. Instead of seeing the election of a black (half black, really) man as a the unifying event that whites saw it as, blacks have taken the same low road they’ve traveled as a group for the last forty years. They decided that it was a statement of racial superiority, even though the dumbest black voter in this country cannot avoid the truth that whites elected zero, not blacks, because there aren’t enough of them to overcome the white vote should whites decide to vote as a racial bloc the way that blacks do.
This last year has been a moment in time that will never come again, and zero blew it. Had he reached for excellence and equality, celebrated America, taken a positive view instead of choosing corruption and cynicism, he would be a great man. Instead, he has shown the evil face of corruption, deceit, racism, and broad, historically anti-American policies, ideologies and a framework for utter destruction of this country as we know it and as it was founded.
He is a menace to society in every respect, yet blacks celebrate him because of his skin color and only his skin color. Like other black pols, he used them for their race-based votes and then did nothing for them or anybody else except the unions and related commie subversives who are now running rampant throughout the country.
