VOTE HER OUT!!!
That may not be so easy. She was re-elected to a third term in 2008 by a margin of 6-7% over her opponent. So she’s safe until 2014, plenty of time for people to forget.

RECALL! Start now, do not wait till 2014 to get rid of her.

At this time, Mary Landrieu cannot be recalled. According to a 1960s court decision, state recalls law cannot be used against federal officials. I have a real problem with this as these elections are held at the state level. As recently as January, a recall was thrown out for essentially the same reasoning (Cao of N.O.). Landrieu can be removed only by the U.S. Congress, which I am sure you realize is NOT going to happen,if she is convicted of a crime (say bribery), or by her own resignation (which I also do not see happening). I would suggest that voters continually remind each other of her behavior and often. I would also recommend working hard in the 2010 elections to vote out those who have supported her in anyway. Be sure to send a message that she is the reason for your actions.

As angry as I am about her behavior, I would caution against nasty personal attacks as this is the kind of behavior often equated with the left.
