This is what they did — these climate “scientists” on whose unsupported word the world’s classe politique proposes to set up an unelected global government this December in Copenhagen, with vast and unprecedented powers to control all formerly free markets, to tax wealthy nations and all of their financial transactions, to regulate the economic and environmental affairs of all nations, and to confiscate and extinguish all patent and intellectual property rights.
The tiny, close-knit clique of climate scientists who invented and now drive the “global warming” fraud — for fraud is what we now know it to be — tampered with temperature data so assiduously that, on the recent admission of one of them, land temperatures since 1980 have risen twice as fast as ocean temperatures. One of the thousands of emails recently circulated by a whistleblower at the University of East Anglia, where one of the world’s four global-temperature datasets is compiled, reveals that data were altered so as to prevent a recent decline in temperature from showing in the record. In fact, there has been no statistically significant “global warming” for 15 years — and there has been rapid and significant cooling for nine years.
Worse, these arrogant fraudsters — for fraudsters are what we now know them to be — have refused, for years and years and years, to reveal their data and their computer program listings...

Let me just say what I did... I wrote a letter on the weekend to my Member of Parliament with a copy to the Prime Minister and the Environment Minister. Each will get it via email, fax and snail-mail. Believe it or not, I've already got back a response and reading between the lines, the message was this... "we got your message and you can support us by having absolutely everybody you know inundate us with that and similar messages. We are looking for cover and if there is a very high level of negative feedback that we receive about this issue, we will be that much stronger in taking and presenting that position." So there you have it....get busy!
I hear you but I actually think that this might be different. These people stand a very serious chance that not just will they have to face angry people that disagree with them... they stand the chance of having hitched their wagon to something where they now stand the chance of both being made a fool of as well being something fraudulent. Thus I'm not sure that they won't grasp the opportunity to do some rapid unhitching...

The media, especially in Europe, has a strong incentive to squelch the information of fraud. The EU has already instituted carbon taxationa nd controls, so if the fraud is exposed the rulers in the EU will be called to accounts ... maybe.
I agree — Europe is deeply into the carbon scam. Watch the Telegraph — they are pretty good on this kind of stuff and I expect, if anyone — they’ll be the ones to write more.

The title has been modified. I was about to post a duplicate thread as I couldn’t find it after doing a title search. After doing a keyword search on “globalwarming” it popped up. The original title “Global WarmingGate” is now “ClimateGate.” I have alerted the mods to make the change.

Well, that’s al lwell and swell, but WHY does it matter how many people support goign ahead with htis IF what they did was agaisnt hte law, or a giant scam perpetrated agaisnt hte people? That alone should be reason and power enough to proceed forth with investigations- it seems to me that the response is in essence “Yeah, we know what they did was illegal, but we’re waiting to see how many people really want us to prosecute before we do our job of protecting hte public from fraud and scam artists”
If I were you I’d write htem back and make this clear to them- ask them why it woudl take a consensus in order for them to do their jobs? That just proves they aren’t really itnerested in upholdign hte law, or in protecting the people, UNLESS it’s politcally expedient to do so- they htrow law out hte window in favor of political capitalism

I agree with the Viscount. These “scientists” are criminals.
What this crowd has done is criminal in so many ways. To perpetuate their fraud they continuously altered data to present the worst case scenario.
They took government monies to fund their ‘research.’
They persuaded governments around the world to adopt regulations that cost private enterprise and individuals inordinate amounts of money to offset a non-exisstent catastrophe.
They demeaned and at least attempted to destroy the reputations of colleagues who so much as questioned their findings.
They should all be in jail for the rest of their lives and forced to forfeit any personal assets they have acquired in pursuit of their fraud.
God bless the hacker who exposed this fraud. His/her life is no doubt in some jeopardy right now.

You're welcome. And yes, there was a comment or two about me posting these in each Anthropogenic Global Warming thread. But, from what I've seen and read here on Free Republic, the readers only see a few threads and miss a lot of information posted by others. So, the only way to get everyone to see this information is to have it posted once on each Anthropogenic Global Warming thread.
BUT, I did take a bit of a break for Thanksgiving... :-)
