they might have also checked the rate of unemployment against the huge mandated increase in the minimum wage. Unemployment among all groups affected by minimum wage rules, but especially black males and more generally all of the lower income, lower education 18-24 year old group, went up dramatically as a result of the increase. But, of course, any of us opposing such an increase were just evil right wing conservatives.

I dunno, Delonta, I’m a white woman looking for work in Washington DC, and every employer I talk to says that they have a very aggressive Affirmative Action and diversity program, so the workforce seems to be disproportionately black. If you’re having trouble finding a job, console yourself that it’s a lot easier for you than it is for me and other people who are melanin-challenged.

Exactly. They were raised on welfare and food stamps in public housing where NOBODY worked and many sold drugs for easy money. Many could not pick their father out of a police lineup. Fully half of all cons in prison are black and half of all violent crimes are committed by blacks.
Blacks are always hit hardest when the government takes control of the private sector. Yesterday this site posted the most dangerous cities in the US. All of the most dangerous are cities that have very little private sector and are dominated by government.
Blacks can expect things to get worse.

Minimum wages are unconstitutional and should have been stopped long ago.
Do away with the minimum wage and watch the unemployment rate among this group drop like a stone. But that won’t happen because it just makes too much sense.
You have to do two things, not just do away with minimum wage -
you have to also get rid of the gov’t checks coming in every month that make it possible not to work and still eat (2 thes 3:10)
