This happens every year going back to when I was kid in the early 60's. I remember Jackie O having a prime-time special. It's all the same - the First Lady walks a camera crew through the White House showing off the decorations, then she and the President sit for a friendly interview. Dr. Phil did at least two with George & Laura.

The only difference here is that Oprah, an outspoken and very visible Obama supporter is doing the interviewing, which is something that ABC should be criticized for.

I don't have any links, but if you need to search this out, I recall that early in his campaign there was online discussion somewhere about how they never give their children any Christmas presents.

It may have been just before the Rev. Wright controversy became "HUGH," LOL
