When viewers tune into watch CNBC's "The Kudlow Report," they may not anticipate a host interrupting conservative Republican Sen. James Inhofe, R-Okla.
But on CNBC's Nov. 24 "The Kudlow Report," fill-in host Simon Hobbs attempted to do just that. Hobbs, a regular on CNBC Europe, suggested there was nothing to emails unveiled after a hacker allegedly accessed the Climate Research Unit at University of East Anglia in Britain. These emails showed an effort by scientists, some on the United Nation's Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change (IPCC), to manipulate data to strengthen the claim of anthropogenic global warming.
"You're well-known as a campaigner or man that believes humans are not the cause of global warming," Hobbs said. "I mean, specifically if you look at the coverage we have, the allegation is that the emails indicated that they were declining to share data with fellow scientists or they were seeking to keep other researchers with dissenting views from perhaps joining them on some platform. It doesn't indicate that the science was wrong or that the science was manipulated."

The liberals defending this sound like little kids who just found out that Santa and the Easter Bunny are fake. They hang on to every excuse to justify themselves that they are real, and that their parents were not lieing to them.
we might as well send the cap and tax money Santa, he is about as real as GW.
we might as well send the cap and tax money to Santa, he is about as real as GW.
I called Inhofe’s office today in Oklahoma to thank him for what he’s doing.
The CNBC crowd is most definitely not MIT material. Heck, their top IQ employee might almost have graduated from high school.
The libtards whiners don’t want this investigated or exposed anymore than it is hence why they are attacking like they are. Be kind, call them a wambulance before molesting them.
Another self appointed "climatologist?"
That nobody ever heard of?
Of course everything he said, it turns out, is wrong. The Progamming Coding itself indicts them beyond question.
And yes, certainly, the fraud is unmistakeable.
All of the major Climate research centers worlwide, the "contributors" to the IPCC reports have been found complicit.
That makes the underpinnings of all proposed agreements to combat non-existent Anthropogenic Global Warming worse than worthless.
What can be expected from any policy based on fraud?
Crooked Corupt Scientists (CCSs) BTTT
It is timely, considering what is going on. It is called "Red Hot Lies" by Chris HornerI have listened to four hours of it tonight, and it bears directly on what we are seeing here. The closest analogy for me is having watched the tactics of the Left and their politics of personal destruction, then having the chance to read, for the first time, "Witness" by Whittaker Chambers.
In Chris Horner's book, he talks about how the climate zealots attack anyone who dares to question the "consensus" of Anthropogenic Global Warming. It is exactly what they are doing to Senator Inhofe.
Hobbs is 180 degrees wrong. The emails and other documents indicate data was manipulated and the science wasn't science at all.
This Brit interviewing Inhofe is a jerk, but it wasn’t as bad as I thought. Inhofe did well in the interview.
I watch alot of cnbc and missed this interview.
Priceless!!! Thank you for posting this!!
And thank you Senator James Inhofe, R-Okla. !
“...a regular on CNBC Europe...”
That explains it. The Europeans are fed massive doses of global warming poison daily.
WHY WATCH THAT CRAP?
Humans are NOT the cause of an event that IS NOT happening!
Mr. Hobbs, you have no actual data that “proves” “global warming”.
So, there is no point in attempting create the impression that mankind is “causing” such a bogus assertion.
Not much of a defense for the global warming fraudsters. And it isn't just the e-mails, it is also the other data included in the hack that will put a lie to a good bit of this GW nonsense.
I saw the interview. Very little time was allotted to it, and it sure did look look like an ambush. Hobbs was strident and tried to shout Inhofe down and use up time with ridiculous assertions that the hackers found nothing to indicate wrong doing. Inhofe was cool and handled it well.
The MSM has been embarrassingly conspicuous with their blackout of news coverage on “Climategate”. CNBC was taking advantage of Kudlow’s absence with this phony piece of “coverage” on the only one of Immelt’s “news” programs that anyone watches. I hope that Kudlow will bring this subject up again when he gets back.
The whiny Brit turned blue when Inhofe told him he was no Cudlow.
The whiny Brit then turned purple with humiliation at the end of the interview knowing he just had his ass handed to him.
Props to the Senator.
