Purely political statement designed to allow the Bam to blame Bush. Wouldn’t be surprised if military didn’t go after him as it would have cost the lives of many innocent cililians.

When was the last video of Osama- not his voice , but a confirmed video of OBL walking around? I'm not so sure he's not six feet under, with his virgins.

If the media is so sure we missed him, surely there's evidence of where he is?

The left wants to pin everything on bin Laden, rather than to acknowledge that it is a much broader issue with Islam. Actually, it appears that the mastermind of 9/11 was Khalid Sheikh Mohammed, and Osama bin Laden gave it his support. The war on terror is much bigger than Osama bin Laden, irrespective of what the left is willing to believe or admit.

Senator Kerry’s hatchet job to try to innoculate OBama and his surge. Kerry KNOWS how many troops the Russians lost in numerous traps at Tora Bora and so did General Tommy Franks. Imagine the left’s outrage if we had sent troops right into the trap known as Tora Bora and lost hundreds. Senator Kerry apparently never read General Frank’s book.

Colonel Shestov, who spearheaded Russian attacks on Tora Bora during the Afghan conflict in the 80s, fears a bloodbath. He said: “I have fought my way into Tora Bora in bloody battles on three separate occasions, yet no one has approached me or my comrades - the people who, more than anyone know what demons lurk there.

“If the Western forces operate at Tora Bora the way it is presented in the media, they will get into enormous trouble with zero results.

They are just trying to paint over the rotten wood of the Obama administration.

Look where this report came from. Staff members for the Senate Foreign Relations Committee’s Democratic majority prepared the report at the request of the chairman, Sen. John Kerry,

KMA John Effin you sorry sack of doo.

I am surprised that this was even in the article given the bias of the GM.

Tora Bora was a trap for our troops set up in the same manner that the Mujahadeen had set traps for Russian soldiers and slaughtered them right at Tora Bora.

Imagine the left’s outrage if we had sent our soldiers charging into a historically obvious trap and lost hundreds.

Senator Kerry, the coward, spun this report at for cover for Obama and his Democrats and Americans should be calling his Committee’s office on Monday with outrage that Senator Kerry ignored the evidence Tora Bora was a trap for our soldiers and when we balked at going in and looked to the Afghanis sending in troops it was obvious they also knew it was a trap and hesitated for 12 hours, allowing those setting the failed trap to retreat.

One thing I have never understood about the Tora Bora time frame was our apparent willingness to drive them into Pakistan, rather than cutting off their line of retreat with airborne troops and capturing/killing the lot of Taliban and Al Queda. I know it would have been expensive to keep them re-supplied, but would have cleaned things up quickly. Any information out there?

Yes Bubba Clinton had a chance to get him in the Sudan. But let OBL go.
Yes we know about Bubba’s lost opportunity.

Regardless of your political views, the entry into the Afghan theatre was botched, at best. There were several opportunities to deliver a crushing blow to these cavemen...all were blown. The U.S. military has become too PC to be effective. The U. S. has not won a war since WWII!!! It’s time to clean house in the Pentagon just like it’s time to clean house in Congress.

So, Bush failed to capture UBL, who was the figure head behind the 9-11 attack, but he DID capture the guy who actually planned and implemented 9-11, KSM. Bush aggressively interrogated KSM, and as a result captured or killed much of the rest of the leadership of al Qaeda, and prevented dozens of further terror attacks against the United States. Bush also persisted, despite repeated sabotaging of the process by Democrats, in prosecuting KSM for his crimes, to the point where KSM was willing to plead guilty and accept execution, until Obama HALTED his prosecution, and now insists on giving a him a show trial, where KSM will be the one giving the show, which will drag on for years, and in which he might possibly be acquitted.

But the only thing that is supposed to matter to us is that Bush failed to capture UBL. We're supposed to just ignore all the rest. Uh, huh. Right.

Nice try, Dems.

I wonder if Obama will label it "unprecedented."

"Staff members for the Senate Foreign Relations Committee's Democratic majority prepared the report at the request of the chairman, Sen. John Kerry"

Hasn't anyone told Lurch that the 2004 election is over, he lost and Bush is no longer in office?

I wonder too just how much this rehashing of old news cost us?

Lemme guess ... author John Kerry ... fresh and hot off the press. They will certainly try to make the troop surge Bushes fault.

"This surge in troops is necessary because the previous administration was lacking in its ability to ... ga ga ga"

The yahoo article blames Bush and nobody else.

Clinton missed bin laden.

http://www.telegraph.co.uk/news/worldnews/northamerica/usa/1440359/Clinton-missed-chance-to-get-rid-of-bin-Laden.html

If Bush missed him I will bet democrats in some committee
stopped him and the media is now spinning this
so Obama their false messiah can blame Bush some more.
