A radical Islamic terrorist attack doesn’t necessarily need several participants or a direct connection to a terrorist organization. It doesn’t need to be spectacular or done by someone motivated by nothing other than theology. It just needs to be an act of violence aimed at instilling fear in order to advance the cause of radical Islam, and it is because of this failure to understand what qualifies as a “terrorist attack” that the country does not see how many such acts have actually occurred. The increasingly ridiculous argument over whether Major Hasan’s Fort Hood shooting can be considered a terrorist attack underscores this point.
The failure to properly assess several incidents involving Muslims engaging in hit and runs of random civilians serves as a precursor to the debate we are seeing over Hasan today. These may not be big incidents, but they are a symptom of the plague and a foreshadowing of the type of creativity that those wishing us harm will utilize in planning their attacks.
The latest possible act of hit-and-run jihad occurred just this month. A 27-year-old man named Munir Muthana was apprehended in Rochester, New York, after he began running random people over, sending six to the hospital. Two squad cars were also hit as they tried to stop him. He has ties to Yemen and when he was arrested, he admitted to having six beers the previous hour and cursed at the police, saying “Ben Franklin was stupid. He should have made it so you [expletives] can’t swerve the law. The Muslims will fix this country.” If this was just a one-time occurrence, it wouldn’t be an event worthy of this column space unless further evidence of an extremist motivation surfaced. We don’t hear much about random acts of terrorists in this country. The media is too busy “fact” checking Palin.
Most of the “peaceful” Muzzies know what is going on within their society and within their Mosques. If they don't report potential Jihad type activities I can see them being hauled into court as conspirators, prosecuted and if found guilty punished to the fullest extent of OUR LAWS.

I know that the revision of terrorist acts has been ongoing by the left, but just a few minutes ago I saw something that indicated to me just how bad it is. I made the mistake of turning to the “History International” channel, and there was a show on comparing 9/11 to the Vesuvius disaster of 79 AD. IIRC the show’s narrator used the term “American Vesuvius”. I was physically sickened when I heard that. How can anyone by any stretch of the imagination compare the enormous act of terrorism that was 9/11 to a natural disaster? I should have known better than to turn to that channel, for some years it has been promoting an anti-American and particularly an anti-Christian POV of history.
...we had a hit ‘n run Muslim kid here in NC a couple of years ago...ran over some folks with a SUV in Chapel Hill....Al-Kadia figures why spend millions to do another 9-11 attack?...just encourage individual kamikaze killers like Ft Hood....it costs them nothing and it spreads terror.
Personally I’d prefer that they hang the bastard. But I’d settle for the firing squad. The important thing is that he be executed if found guilty.

The US Army could be considered an "organization of peace" by the standard of only 10% of Army personnel actually being engaged in shooting occupations. The other 90% are in the business of feeding, transporting, supplying, training (etc) the shooters.
A Muslim who knows of pro-jihad activity, and does nothing to oppose it, is a co-conspirator in jihad.
Jihad is not just organized fighting. Jihad is any activity which promotes an environment where non-Muslims are intimidated from opposing the spread of Islam. It can take the form of violent terrorism, but it can also take the form of using discrimination lawsuits, boycotts, political action, office politics, etc to isolate and ostracize any who speak out against Islam.
They are all 'peaceful' until they commit jihad and they are all commanded to commit jihad therefore...

Indeed I’ve wondered why there aren’t more smaller types of attacks. Fear is fear.
And there is the indirect negative effects also. Look at all the business and political pandering since 911. And not just here. Europe, esp England.
I don’t pray daily that a terrorist attack won’t happen on our soil; I pray daily that I am in the right place and the right time and survive long enough to kill the ones doing it.
I firmly believe that something truly atrocious of the same degree of 9/11 or worse will have to happen again and when the Muslim community stands, at best, in mute silence failing to condemn the act as vociferously as the rest of America, the non-Muslim Americans will truly know where their support is.
I wonder if the Jihadis take that into account. Blame and anger must go somewhere.

Every Muslim, including the one in the White House, is a terrorist, and should be watched closely. Islam is like a virus that causes mental illness, violence, irrational hatred, paranoia and religious euphoria that culminates with jihad. Muslims who have been additionally traumatized by Marxism, liberalism, and all the radical malcontent leftist lunacy brings are ticking time bombs. The bomb doesn’t have to be strapped on to be ticking away in their heads.
