Party on, Barack!

Is it just me, or is anyone else in America getting the sense there is no leader of our country at the moment? Seriously, I'm having a difficult time believing Mr. Obama is actually the president given he doesn't seem to be doing anything other than giving speeches and throwing parties.

The American people once again have it right. Polls show the No. 1 focus of the administration should be jobs, jobs, jobs, jobs.

Questions loom regarding whereabouts of Global Warming

Despite global temperatures having fallen every year since 1998, administration sources insist that proof of Global Warming of Massive Destruction (G-WMD) will be found.

Climate scientists and officials of the U.N.'s Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change (IPCC) have scoured the planet, searching for proof of G-WMD, but no proof has been found. With the Copenhagen summit just one week away, teams of U.N. warming inspectors have made no progress in the hunt to uncover proof of G-WMD in the last round of inspections.

Moreover, recently disclosed e-mails from Britain's Climate Research Unit seemed only to fuel lingering uncertainty over whether the Earth faces imminent ecological disaster, weather permitting. Claims of the threat posed by G-WMD were, for the most part, based on intelligence reports from the CRU.

The leaked CRU documents, involving damaging e-mail exchanges and computer files, showed that intelligence was 'sexed up' with falsified data and statistics in an effort to influence the IPCC in its march to War on Global Warming. The damaging e-mail disclosures sparked fear and anxiety that global catastrophe may not happen after all.

The new developments in the ever growing ClimateGate scandal, which threatens to further weaken Obama's case that G-WMD is a threat, come even as renowned climate expert, Al Gore, reported on the Tonight show that, according to his thermometer, temperatures in the interior of the Earth are already well into the millions of degrees, threatening to turn the Earth into a star at any moment, adding a sense of urgency to reaching an agreement at Copenhagen.

"The interior of the Earth is really hot," Gore told Conan O'Brien, adding that his instant-read thermometer, inserted deep into the planet without touching the bone, registered "several million degrees, and the crust of the Earth is hot."

Additionally, believers in the imminent threat of G-WMD cite CRU intelligence reports in which G-WMD is blamed for warm weather in the Southern Hemisphere during the Northern Hemisphere's winter months and warm weather in the Northern Hemisphere during the Southern Hemisphere's winter months. It is also believed that balmy weather in Florida can be traced to increase concentrations of greenhouse gas emissions resulting from Tiger Woods's SUV.

"It's settled science!", yelled one administration source, screaming on condition of anonymity, adding that final proof of global warming will "eventually be found." Irrefutable evidence of G-WMD, central to the administration's argument for war on incandescent light bulbs, "will be uncovered but it may take time," added another top administration source, also speaking on condition of anonymity. "Is it a surprise that proof of global warming has not been found? No. Would the evil force that steered Katrina into New Orleans -- Karl Rove -- engage in a highly elaborate deception plan to trick U.N. warming inspectors? Of course. How else do you explain no rise in global temperatures during the Bush years when Rove gained control of the weather? How about blizzards conveniently occurring everywhere Gore happens to have a speaking engagement? Don't be fooled."

Expectations were raised when Obama, in a widely covered address last year, asserted that his election would be the "moment when the rise of the oceans began to slow and our planet began to heal." One senior administration official said "those 16 words should never have been included in the text written for Obama." Not before cap and trade is even passed. But Joseph Wilson, known for exposing the administration's faulty words, told Obama in response, "You lie!". As for the author of those 16 words, the same official insisted that William Ayers has since apologized. "It was a mistake," the official quoted Ayers as saying. The White House had hired Ayers as a consultant on climate issues, having once been a Weatherman himself.

Anyway, that's...
My Two Cents of corny satire

I think he actually IS trying to create jobs — government jobs.

Healthcare: millions of new bureaucrats and clerks at HHS for K. Sibelius.

Climate change: millions more bureaucrats and clerks to handle redistributing our wealth to third world countries.

Afghanistan is the exception, not worth pursuing.... a pesky distraction like national defense is way on the back burner (months to make a decision when days count to our military boys and girls).

Of course, he can’t admit that growing government is his plan to reduce unemployment. It explains the sense of urgency to get his agenda passed. He’s gotta be bummed that it’s taking so long to get the hiring started — the mid-terms and 2012 keep getting closer.

When you’re hung up on yourself it’s hard not to be in the spot light any chance you can get. Obama is way over exposed, past the point of being pathetically in loive with himself.

“Party on, Barack!”

Why shouldn’t he party on?

His party holds both houses of congress, the executive branch, and many local offices throughout the country.

They have lots of tax money to play with and distribute to their Democrat-voting constituency.

They have lots and lots of power, a willing press that characterizes them as totally brilliant, all-knowing, and without equal and just about fifty percent of a willing electorate to perpetuate them in power.

So, what’s not to party about and who’s going to complain about it?; certainly not Democrats and certainly not those “brilliant” independents who are above the fray and who read the New York Times.

If anything, one has to admire the chutzpah of all those “brilliant, intellectually superior” Democrats.

IMHO

Ten years from now, if the country still exists, you will find no one who will admit that they voted for Obama in the fall of 2008. Over the last ten years I haven’t been able to find anyone who will admit that they voted for that fool Carter.

Obama promissed to change America fundamentally. His goal is a total destruction of a middle class and the country itself. So far he is successful in doing just that. So, he is happy and has parties.

I was caught last night watching the football game and saw the TOFUS playing catch with Drew Brees and the rest of the NFL diversity/butt kissers telling us how to put our kids through two-a-days in order for them not to turn into fat tubs of sh#t.

WTF?... How about "going to work" and get off the television for a couple of days in a row? My God, this clown can't seem to understand that the more we see of him the more we thing he's a douche bag. I just loved the football toss that looked like a girl when he "pushed" it to the kid.

Obama is becoming like the Pina Colada song.... kinda funny at first, popular and then you wanted to puke your guts out every time you hear/see it after awhile.

My son (14 year old) saw the commercial with me and just rolled his eyes and said.... "wow, he's even doing football commercials....jeez this is so lame...."

There was an excellent insight in an article I cannot find right now that discussed the fact that the US is one of the few countries where the head of the government is different than the head of state. Take UK for instance, where the head of state is the Queen and the head of government is the Prime Minister.

The problem you correctly bring out is that Obama easily fills the head of state, in fact relishing it, but veers away from being the head of the government.

This I believe is his fundamental weakness: he likes to be adulated as head of state but the job he was elected to do the head of government) he passes on, prefering that underlings(like Nancy, Harry and the Czars) do the work.

Bottomline: he is one lazy SOB.

Only 24% of the adults polled say they would definitely vote to re-elect Obama in 2012.

So this says that essentially Obama is down to his base support. He's lost about all of the independents and middle ground voters who are the ones who elected him. Seems about right.

The disenchanted Obama voters from whose eyes the scales have fallen have probably come to realize that they elected someone who never had a job where he had to deliver on anything. He was a figurehead affirmative action editor of the Law Review and never had to write an article for it, and never did. He was a "community organizer". WTH is that? Never had to deliver on anything other than hot air agitation. A nonexistent record of "achievement" as a state legislator in a corrupt 'Rat-dominated state. He had a brief stint as a US Senator where he was absent for more votes than he was present, was in charge of a subcommittee than never held a meeting, authored no significant legislation. Now he has a job where he has to deliver and what does he deliver? More hot air, speeches, golf games, photo-ops "throwing" (pushing) footballs, traveling, bowing, spending other people's money. At some point, even the blind squirrel has to realize that this bum is not capable of doing anything, much less things that are good for the country.

Yeah, well, those disenchanted voters probably got their view of the world from the media, specifically fictional: TV serials and movies. Shows like that regularly portray characters that "rise above" their past and make good beyond their promise. Trouble is, that ain't reality.

Unlike stocks and mutual funds, with people the past IS an indicator of future performance.
