I think it is a good Q. Huck was polling at least 8-10% of GOP voters, it's interesting to know whether those votes now go to the other evangelical Sarah, someone else or whether it puts Hucksters in the undecided column!
God works in strange ways.
It seemed the media was trying to set him up to be the next GOP nomination
I would appreciate if we could hear from the Hucksters only and if the Palinistas could hold there twitchy trigger finger for a few.
No but then again, I was never voting for Huckabee.
oops
their

Your Palin obsession is causing you to abbreviate unnecessarily.
And incorrectly.
Is Willy Norton related to Willie Horton?
I had NO intention of voting for the lying Huckster.
Nor will I be voting for Palin.
Let her make some noise out there and pay off her legal bills. She can’t win the election for the Republicans and if she goes Independent, she’ll be another spoiler like Ross Perot. I wouldn’t care if she was a VP though, just NOT President.
You’re going a bit overboard with the vanities lately.
Shhhhhhh. Let him and the voices argue it out. ;)
“God works in strange ways.’
Just so I get this straight.
You believe God made Huckabee commute the sentence of that POS so that he could cold bloodedly murder 4 upstanding law enforcement officers, with families of their own, just to throw a few votes Sarah’s way, in a campaign she hasn’t even committed to as of yet?
Bob, do you think you could give it a rest until after the 2010 midterms, at which point we’ll have a MUCH better idea of who might actually be running in 2012?
Still supporting Bob Dole.
I always get Willy Horton and Ken Norten mixed up...with all respect to Ken.
Whom would you recommend to vote for then ?

I noticed you supported me in a previous thread and I promise I will take your suggestion under serious advisement.
Is Ken Norten related to the boxer Ken Norton?
Those northern folk are all related, husbands work shift work at night and all the houses look the same.

“I’d recommend watching the book sales of Huckster’s book and compare them to Palins ...... starting this week.”
Of course, because we all know book sales translate directly into presidential votes...just ask Hillary.
To 7 - LOL
I do support you and I will continue to support you, we go way back, but I think you’re in overkill mode.
I agree. Huckabee was too close to the criminal Clintons when he was governor of Arkansas. I would not vote for him, nor Palin. They have quite a background of what they did in Arkansas.

You should change thant to your Palin hatred obsession.
He wants to know how people vote but won’t tell you who he supports.
Huckabee played the spoiler with Evangelicals in 2008, ensuring that Fred Thompson lost in the South.
I was expecting him to play the same role again, this time undermining Sarah Palin. So, it’s a big plus for her that he is now out of it. Even his endorsement isn’t going to mean much, at this point.
Sarah is a Pentecostal, and I think that Evangelicals will sympathize with her. So will Catholics, at least traditional minded Catholics who support the right to life and real marriage.
The one place where Mitt Romney’s religion works against him is with Evangelicals. That was obvious enough in the last race. And now he’s got conservatives solidly against him as well. I don’t think he stands a chance, although I shudder to think what the Republican leadership may be planning in the way of stupid manipulation of the primary process.

In all fairness, there ARE no candidates yet.
Bit early.
How many Huckabee supporters ended up voting for McCain?
Obviously not enough but I am thinking probably many.
I don’t know why a Huckabee supporter would not vote for Palin.

One question regarding Bob J’s prior poll: if Cheney is our saviour de jour, why didn’t he run in 2008 when he actually had a chance to save the nation from the Marxist Obama? I’d say he’s a day late and won’t run. If he doesn’t run, which pedigreed purebred warhorse from the GOP’s “electable” beltway stable will you trot out next?
Don’t hold you’re breath looking for an answer from him.
CNN Poll: Palin Best Reflects GOP Core Values (Sarah 15%, Huck 7%, Romney 6%, Newt 4%)
Follow-up query: why is this vanity even in the “News” section...? ;)

Within the context of Huckabee’s potential run for the 2012 Republican nomination for President (only) this sad, despicable and unfortunate event is a personal answer to prayer.
I will never get over Huckabee staying in the last primary way past the point it made sense other than to play the role of a spoiler...to ace the nomination for McCain. That was no mistake. It revealed clearly that Huckabee is, under the best of interpretations, NOT a movement conservative willing to subordinate personal interests to that of the conservative cause.
That was quite the Ziiiinger! LOL!
I didn’t say Cheney was our saviour, no more than I would proclaim ANY politican my saviour. I was aksed whom I would support, at this point, and after considerable thought I came to the conclusin I couldn’t support any of the annointed yet unannounced nominees, and that if pressured to pick a candidate, now, I would select Cheney...as well as a Dick/Liz ticket.
I’ve always liked Cheney, he was the smartest man in the W2 admin, he’s a fighter, he knows how to turn the tables on opponents/liberals and if there as one person I would want in my foxhole, he’s the guy.
I do not thing book sales have anything to do with anything.
Iruth to that, but as long as others push their candidate,
we will post the current articles for Palin.
Also many on FR who say they don’t have a candidate are the first to bash or post snarky comments against Palin. We will post countering that.
Picking someone who won’t be running......way to go there slick
Palin’12

A demanding little snot, aren't you!
You said it!
So we should vote for Huckabee because he’s such a wonderful, intuitive person?

Sure. Just like I voted for Zero. NOT!!!!
I know I always get confused as to which one played first base and which one was the catcher...
Define "we". Got a list?
I have nothing against Palin and think highly of her.
Some of the fanatical worship, though, reminds me of the left's attitude toward Obama.
Not healthy.
Idol worship is bad. Keep an open mind.
