” just saw on a local web site that 5 local dim politicians announced they were changing parties.”

More than likely changing to the Republican Party, thus furthering the Leftward movement of the Republican Party.

Five more RINO’s. Five more RINO Romneyites.

I’d bet if this is true that the RINO leadership of the Republican Party solicited them to join their “BIG TENT”.

I predict that Obama will not run for a second term. He will use the excuse that he accomplished what he came to Washington for and ignore the fact that he has no support. He won’t want to be beat in an election by large margins. Democrats will change parties if he runs again.

My grandmother was a democrat since 1945.

BIIIIGGGG difference. Doesn’t even resemble the queer, hate-america party now.

GILMER — The Upshur County Republican Party has five additional elected officials. Five Democrats announced on the courthouse steps Tuesday morning that they are changing parties. MORE COVERAGE RELATED STORY: Upshur County District Judge announces re-election bid Sheriff Anthony Betterton, County Judge Dean Fowler, District Clerk Carolyn Bullock Parrott, Precinct 2 Justice of the Peace Lyle Potter and Precinct 2 Constable Jason Weeks said that when election filing starts in a few days, they'll be registering to run as Republicans. Upshur County remained an East Texas Democratic stronghold until the November 2008 election. The county is about 75 percent Republican, based on the results of the 2008 presidential election in which Sen. John McCain received 11,222 votes to Barack Obama's 3,790 votes. A record 3,821 straight-ticket Republican votes were cast in the election.

This is from the Longview paper.

The number of people in this country who are loyal to any political party is at an all-time low...period.

Well it’s obvious he is trying to do as much damage as he can in the next 3 years.
People better get out and vote in 2010. That is the only hope of stopping this insanity.

Are they conservative or will they just further muddy the GOP waters?

Obama bumping Charlie Brown Christmas for a speech

Kids will be crying all night. Christmas is a big deal for kids, and the TV Christmas specials are a huge hit. They get all excited about them.
Oboma is such a bastard (literally).

My grandmother was a democrat since 1945

while the old folks were napping, it became the Progressive Communist Party, and nobody , least of all the Party, wanted to tell them. So they voted "Democrat" and still wondering what all the fuss is about.

And then serve as a maid or butler for those that didn’t.

At least they'd be doing something to earn their keep (hide your valuables).
