Criminals - YES! Waiting for the prosecution - well, maybe not since most of the world governments are involved.

Scientist are people too and have the same motives. All scientists want to be funded and do critical, important work (or at least be perceived as doing so). It is not at all surprising to me that some scientists are compromising their credibility to cater to the agenda of politicians with $$. This happens in almost every field—there is always someone who will tell the politicians what they want to hear for personal gain—even in the military.

(DRAIN THE SWAMP!!)
Commies lie for a living. They'd lied to cover up giving atom bombs to Joe Stalin and they lie to give taxing power to international green activists, makes no difference to them. They pushed Po Mo thought to make lying for a living seem a bit more intellectually respectable. All it ever was.

We should have seen this coming when we turned over all of our educational institutions to the America-hating, Commie ‘RATS. Even our “scientists” are nothing but a bunch of egg-sucking, political hacks willing to say and do whatever it takes to get that next government grant.

(Time to prosecute Al Gore now that fellow scam artist Bernie Madoff is in stir.)
Should we be surprised that the academic left has invaded the physical sciences? Everything liberals touch turn to a big pile of crap.

What is happening at East Anglia is an epochal event. As the hard sciencesphysics, biology, chemistry, electrical engineeringcame to dominate intellectual life in the last century, some academics in the humanities devised the theory of postmodernism, which liberated them from their colleagues in the sciences. Postmodernism, a self-consciously "unprovable" theory, replaced formal structures with subjectivity. With the revelations of East Anglia, this slippery and variable intellectual world has crossed into the hard sciences.
Absolute must read : John Horgan's THE END OF SCIENCE (1996), which could have been titled POSTMODERN SCIENCE. In fact the author explains the rise of what he calls "ironic science", which is more or less "science as a game". So, doubly ironic when this crowd wants to set the agenda for humanity, as Keepers of the Truth.
