Wrong, it’s not even about “selling indulgences”, it’s about wealth redistribution, expansion of government power, and one-world government.

Nice comment from one of the readers:

“Funny, not one mention about the fact that he predicted global cooling in the early 70s. Hansen says this is “our last chance” to save the planet, but we should wait a year. For what? To see if that cooling kicks in? That way he’ll be right on both predictions!”

Looks to me that James Hansen is one of the rats bailing off of the global warming or climate change ship or whatever they manage to invent to steal from hard working citizens. These slugs need to be prosecuted to the fullest extent of the law and better be running away from this scam FAST!!! We will seek revenge!!!

He added that the world must be prepared to abandon coal unless its emissions are captured and embrace a new generation of nuclear power. Nuclear power? What is this guy thinking? :-)

He was one of the first voices to raise the alarm about rising global temperatures in the early 1980s, forecasting correctly that the planet would warm in the coming decades.Even that setting was a hoax. He showed up in front of a Senate panel and someone turned the furnace on in the room and he starts sweating profusely on camera during his testimony.

That nutcase Hansen ran cover for the CRU shenanigans by whining to the media about Bush’s war on “science”.

Looks to me that James Hansen is one of the rats bailing off of the global warming or climate change ship... Nope. Hansen is a true believer. He is bailing on Copenhagen because he recognizes that "cap and trade" is nothing more than a money-laundering scam. It does nothing, in his words, to address the "global warming problem".
Right idea. Wrong reason.

“wealth distribution” is the key. This isw why we do not pump more of our own oil and why we do not utilize our other resources.

Dr Hansen, 68, the fifth of seven children of an Iowa farmer, joined Nasa after taking his PhD to study Venus.... Wish that puke went to Venus to study it up close.

BS. An excuse, not a reason. He’s bailing because of the release of the incriminating evidence of Nov. 17.
He’s bailing from the BIG, BIG spotlight on “Climate-Gate”.

when he realised that man-made emissions were choking the atmosphere on his own planet. This is journalism? This is a POS worship piece masquerading as facts.

Hansen was been caught fudging data before the CRU was nabbed. His reputation should be in the tank, but he is still celebrated. Rush Limbaugh was right when he said scientists need to clean their own house.
The frustrating thing is that although the latest e-mails are shocking the public, they shouldn't be...if the press had been doing it's job. It's a well-known fact in the scientific community that peer review is a joke, not just in climatology either. Data destruction is commonplace, and most journals don't have a retention policy. They don't want to offend top scientists by questioning them. Just go into your favorite search engine and look for blogs talking about unreproducible experiments.
