Great! Thank you for getting this effort started!
We’re hoping for the scene from Miracle on 34th Street when the judge asks for the letters on his desk. :-)
|We want them to receive thousands of letters from you, the voter, the donator. Let ALL in the RNC know, from the bottom up, how you feel and what you think about RINOS.
And it REALLY IS that easy :)
Thank you for letting us do it.
You have inspired me.
Mine, will probably be less polite.
Interesting.....am I willing to acknowledge that a RINO did something right? There are times when a RINO might make a correct decision, it doesn’t mean they are good for our country. What TICKS ME OFF is their failure to abide by conservative platform. They have twisted the republican party into something I don’t recognize. Your point is taken.
Good idea ya’ll! Well done!
This is what we need. People stepping up and making these things happen. I will mail one. Thank you for getting one thing started.
Oh that is so good. :) I received a call requesting money for the RNC, and let’m have it, politely. Their responses were telling. They told me I wasn’t the only one who said this or that.
The only thing I disagree with on the platform is being against “homosexualism.” While I am not for a “gay agenda” I am in no way against homosexuals. Most gays were born that way and cannot help it. It’s a defect formed in utero like cleft palate or webbed toes. They are our brothers and sisters.
That's not been proven but even if that were true, one repairs webbed toes and a cleft palate, don't they.
Thanks Lucy! adding a couple of pings... :)
It’s late and I’m tired.. If not for Jim Rob’s BIG 2200+ POST thread about RINOs, and DJ MacWoW’s idea, this would not have happened. RINOs have generated a lot of activity and interest on FR for a reason.
NOW is the time for ACTION!
G’nite and see you tomorow~
Goodnight Kim! I’m right behind on the trip to dreamland!
BS. I have homosexual friends, two very nice middle aged men who have made it quite clear to me it's their CHOSEN lifestyle. In their youth, both of them had relationships with women, one was married with two children.
The party has been sending me questionairs lately,
which I fill out naturally in a FreeRepublic mannor
and on all of them I write that they will get no more
funds from me until Sarah Palin and others like her
are candidates. I do NOT want to reach across the Isle
just to find my self screwed by democrats again and again.
Solid Conservatives UP!
Freepers to the FRONT!
"But I can ACT more Conservative ... REALLY!"
So very, VERY co-signed!!! ;)
...pro-God, pro-life, pro-family, pro-Constitution, pro-Bill of Rights, pro-gun, pro-limited government, pro-private property rights, pro-limited taxes, pro-capitalism, pro-national defense, pro-freedom, and-pro America. We oppose all forms of liberalism, socialism, fascism, pacifism, totalitarianism, anarchism, government enforced atheism, abortionism, feminism, homosexualism, racism, wacko environmentalism, judicial activism, etc. We also oppose the United Nations or any other world government body that may attempt to impose its will or rule over our sovereign nation and sovereign people. We believe in defending our borders, our constitution and our national sovereignty...”
All of this is in the Republican Party Platform.
Most people don’t read it and that’s a pity.
|> Most gays were born that way and cannot help it.
>> BS. I have homosexual friends, two very nice middle aged
I have two female friends who are “coupled” lesbians, going through an unofficial marriage together about 10 years. They even have a 7-year-old boy who is born as a result of a sperm clinic visit during their “coupling.” Other than specific gay issues that affect them, like state-sanctioned marriage that might affect the custody of their child, they're actually relatively conservative.
One was married to a man in an abusive relationship, but decided to turn gay after the divorce. The other had sex with a man ONCE when she was 18, deciding that men weren't "right" for her either.
There may or may not be tendencies or predispositions to homosexuality for a host of reasons. But ultimately, it seems to be a CHOICE ...
Excellent question that should be asked of candidates we suspect are on their power trips. Most of them are in a constant state of denial. They think that their good intentions to make their country a better place have no impact unless they rise to a position of power. They become addicted to the game of reaching higher and higher positions and forget about the good intentions they had when they began their power trip. They become like Tiger Woods who gets to the pinnacle of his life and animal light goes of in their brain that says I CAN DO ANYTHING I WANT THE THE HELL WITH ANYONE ELSE! Their earlier ideals go by the wayside.
The man of big dreams, the momma in tennis shoes (Senator Patty Murray) and the good human being becomes that narcissist that could care less about the good intentions they had in their earlier years. In order to placate the nagging guilt that they have compromised their ideals, they fall prey to the seduction of socialist Marxism. Once they learn that they can receive campaign contributions (which they launder into their private bank accounts) from those they give grant money, the cycle is complete. They have become fully enmeshed into the system. They cut themselves off from the society they represent or live in. They wall themselves out from the rest of society. They cease to be responsive as human beings to real people (Sarah Palin is so special because she stays connected to real people). They insulate themselves with email word limits, staffers who pretend to listen to what we say and our letters dumped unopened in the trash. The only human interaction they give us is a computer program set to fire off a form letter with the click of a mouse.
We need to break down those walls. When we call our representatives and demand that we talk directly to them. No longer should we have to talk to a stooge staffer (let the staffers read every word of those lengthy bill they write). We need to talk to the representative directly for their own mental well being. We need to demand it and not take any excuses like, "Representative Adam Smith is at lunch," or "Senator Maria Cantwell is on the Senate floor." We need to take our county back by taking these representatives to the task of doing their job.
An adaptation of an old idea... a party that stands for nothing will stand for anything.
Kinda late, I am, but this is just super. I didn’t even realize the thread was up and ready to go! WoW!
I did it last week!
Whenever possible, use the postage-paid return envelopes that you get when they send you those money requests or bogus surveys.
I’m sorry, but if 2.5m irate tax paying voters get nothing but scorn and ridicule, exactly what do you think this will do?
The RNC will continue to push RINOs because they are all politicians... and the dems are pushing for a massive increase in power for ANY party in control.
The RNC, just like in NY23, will continue to push money to the RINOs, knowing the grassroots doesn’t have the cash to defeat them nationally
Stop being an independent thinker and using facts. The poor soul probably still believes in climate change and the piltdown man! Spoon fed science parrots do not make observations and draw conclusions, they sit in a science high chair and wait for information. The article was fantastic tho. I am handwriting a letter to the same effect.
“They told me I wasnt the only one who said this or that.”
THAT PERSON LIED I’d say. Been there, Done that with them myself multiple times, so I know.
Thanks for the ping LucyT, and Thanks to: “This was a group effort by DJ MacWoW, MestaMachine, Kim4vrwcs, bcsco, and hiredhand with Jim Robinsons approval”
I believe we must all participate as suggested for true effect. I know many have tried individually, as we have to get the point across to the RNC over time, and feel as frustrated as we do here at the ranch, but with this unified effort I believe we can make some headway.
We will be addressing the efforts we perceive as real and troubling in our next letter that the RNC is more interested in their funding by such Leftist RINO’s as Mitt Romney, than they are in promoting a true opposition to the Leftist onslaught of the Democrat Party.
We think, and rightfully so that the RNC has capitulated to a Leftist element that has wormed it’s way into the interior of, and the leadership of the Party, causing the dilemma of the ever increasing influence of the RINO’s.
Thanks again for promoting this effort.
Glad you’re doing this.
I will do it today, without fail.
You are a class act!
“We will not support Republicans who do not demand full investigations into voter fraud, specifically with ACORN and SEIU.”
“Sorry for the long post.”
Never apologize for greatness!
“The Republican Party can either return to the Reagan/Goldwater/Helms standard, or they can damn well go the way of the Bull Moose Party.”
Now it is just the Bull Party.
Kim, you need to re post this a few times over the next few weeks, so every FReeper has a chace to see it.
We are going to try and run it like they run the canteen threads.
Every time I get an RNC or affiliated letter asking for money....
I send it back with comments regarding CONSERVATIVE CANDIDATES....
NO MONEY UNTIL YOU PROVE YOURSELF.
[That was suppose to be sarcasm, right? Remember to us the (/s), otherwise, you could be taken seriously.]
A very good idea.
Same here. Why not? Until they get the idea, let them take out their own garbage.
Good job. Thanks for your service to the cause.
Remind them of it and put them on notice that we haven't forgotten. If you disagree then don't write a letter. But this IS an forum for activism. That means doing something rather than just complaining.
Do you really believe that people writing in and saying they will deny the party money and votes will have no effect? They rely on money.
Well, it’s not Reagan’s Big Tent, but lets see how that works for you.
