BURNIN' DOWN THE TENT!!!
We have all been frustrated and angry at the way we have been treated by the political elite in this country. They have ignored us, belittled us, overlooked us, and singled us Conservatives out for their special brand of contempt.
It is bad enough when liberals and Democrats do it, but the betrayal of our Constitution and of our whole system of Conservative values and morals at the hands of the party we built and supported for lo these many years has been the ultmate blow to Conservatives both those of us here at Free Republic, and to Conservatives in the grassroots across our country.
THEY HAVE TAKEN US FOR GRANTED!!!
The RNC and the Republican Party have helped the liberal vampires in this country to sink their fangs into the very heart of our nation, and have joined in the cause of the slow bleeding and painful death of everything that made America the freest, greatest land on earth.
They have become the enemy within.
HAVE YOU HAD ENOUGH???
ARE YOU MAD AS HELL???How about it, Free Republic?
When was the last time you didn't go to bed and wake up angry?
When was the last time you yelled out loud at the television?
A minute ago? An hour ago?When was the last time you saw a RINO on television betraying you to your face? Today? Yesterday? Five minutes ago?
When was the last time you went to work, IF you still have a job, and managed to stay in good spirits for more than five minutes as you have been faced with the consequences of liberal policies that RINOs helped put in place?
Affirmative action hires that don't work so you have to work harder, but you can't say anything.
You can't DO anything or you risk losing everything.
You hear them in your offices, in your assembly lines, and in your rest areas snickering at you, calling you names, and making fun of you behind your back because you believe in something. Because you value life, liberty, equality, morals, ethics, family, and GOD.
Because you support our brave Warriors,including Law Enforcement Officers who put their lives on the line every damn day for them and us.
Because you honor those brave men and women who fight today and have fought in the past for our freedom while they openly disdain them almost as if they are deliberately trying to pick a fight with you personally.
Don't they just LOVE pushing your buttons?
They know EXACTLY where to stick the knife, but all you can do is endure the pain in relative silence because there is nobody to watch your back.
You know the RINOs who sold us out are to blame for ALL of it.
Without the RINOs, what you see happening today would have been impossible.
ARE YOU TIRED OF IT???
ARE YOU SICK TO DEATH OF HEARING THAT THE PARTY YOU ONCE TRUSTED TO UPHOLD CONSERVATIVE PRINCIPLES IS A BIG TENT THAT ADMITS ANYONE WHO BELIEVES IN NOTHING IF THEY DECIDE TO WEAR AN R AFTER THEIR NAME???
ARE YOU WILLING TO PUT YOUR MONEY AND A FRACTION OF YOUR TIME TOWARDS ENDING THIS CYCLE OF MADNESS???
TELL THEM ABOUT IT!!! Take five minutes, ten minutes, an hour of your time, grab a pen and a piece of paper and write it down and SEND IT!
Type a letter and print it out and SEND IT!Not an email. Not a fax. Not a phone call. We already know they will ignore them.
We want to flood their headquarters with letters they can't ignore, as many letters as is humanly possible. Write a letter, make ten copies, sign your name, buy some stamps and send them!
Have your friends and family send as many letters as they can.
TELL THEM ABOUT IT.
No more contributions to the RNC, not one cent, if they insist on supporting RINOs who don't adhere to core Conservative principles and values.
Tell them in your own words that you will support individual candidates of YOUR choosing on their own merits, and not the party hacks they want to jam down our throats like Dede Scozzafava and Arlen Specter.

TELL THEM ABOUT IT!!!We don't need bullhorns to get their attention! The value of ONE handwritten letter with words inscribed from the heart, is worth more than ten voices screaming at the top of their lungs. Nobody writes letters anymore.
Voicemail can be erased or never listened to. Emails get lost in the system and many are not taken seriously because anybody with a gripe can send an email. It's just that easy, and it makes it that much easier to ignore.

They might receive contributions from the party elite, but those people have only ONE VOTE, no matter how much money they contribute.
We have millions.
TELL THEM ABOUT IT!!! If they send you one of their stupid plastic cards, don't just send it back in their prepaid envelopes anymore. Enclose it whole with a personal letter using your own envelope, your own stamp, and SEND IT!!!

Obviously the goal of the RNC to elect “republicans” has had disasterous results for the entire country, hasn’t it?
You guys that just keep repaeating over and over that we got to start at the bottom don’t get it. The RNC decides who they will push, who gets the money and ad time on TV. Bottom people do NOT have the power to change anything, and WE don’t have twenty years to slow walk Conservatives to the tops of tickets.

I’m not suggesting we rely on any national party. That’s been tried and has proved to be more of the problem rather than the solution. We, the grassroots ARE the voters and we’re mad as hell and determined now more than ever to run the liberals AND the RINOS out on a rail!!

Curing the disease is too much work for many. Better to flail away at the symptoms because that brings instant gratitude and who cares if it doesn’t work?

Totally disagree. You’re saying, “I am not going to support the RNC until…” I am saying, “I am not supporting the RNC period.” I’d much rather be a part of a movement that happens to belong to a party.
If every conservative converted just ONE moderate each between now and November 2010, it is ball game over big time and for a long time. Parties follow, we need to lead.
Why the purveyors of rugged individualism look to their national party or long for that one voice to speak our mantra, when it should be deafening chorus of a massive grassroots ground swell, is beyond be me.
Give me a tea party over an RNC convention any day of the week.

A campaign like this grows legs, Bob. It starts with the letters. It doesn’t end there. I am well aware of the phrase, “All politics is local.” And we have made great strides in reorganizing, and in some cases, completely changing our own local politics.

Yes, Bob, and I even know how to spell Graham and Specter.
Specter won because he was a democrat who switched parties to run in his first election, but he has always had the backing of the Philly establishment thugocracy and the unions for his liberalism and that has always been why he was re-elected as well. He was NEVER a real republican.
Graham won because he campaigned as a Conservative with a military resume in a southern state that is conservative and partial to the military. For his time in Congress, he stayed Conservative. The Clinton impeachment elevated his stature to that of a Conservative hero, and FR helped that.
When he got to the Senate, everything changed. He glued himself to mxxain’s backside and never unstuck himself. He can be defeated.
Collins and Snowe are from liberal states. So what? Liberalism in their states hasn’t helped them any. The message in those states has to resonate. Do you think they aren’t feeling the heat from what this administration is doing.
NOW is the time to strike. That is the beauty of FR. MEMBERS in EVERY STATE IN THE COUNTRY!!! THAT is power, Bob.

She was handpicked by a disgruntled rino upon his leaving the chairmanship of his district, and in collusion with the o admin, to replace a “?r” who the o admin conveniently appointed to a cabinet post. The district party hacks knew beyond a shadow of a doubt that she was to the left, even of obama.
The RNC took up and supported her nomination, wasted hundreds of thousands of dollars, and you see what a disaster that was.

The power in the party starts from the top down. You change things by changing the power stucture. You change the power structure by refusing to go along to get along, Bob. That has not worked in all these years and it will not work now.

I just use it like a RSS reader these days and leave it at that. They have pretty much run out of targets to attack and the boredom is evident with the Romney fun and games. If it was not that, it would be something or someone else.
The problem is that Romney's pac is the only one that has been funding conservatives at the levels necessary to win. Talk about eat your own....

Let's hope a dynamic leader emerges soon to gather this disparate mess back together.
God I love and appreciate your passion but I still believe that relying on the national party for anything or at any time other than the presidential election, which is the only national election, is a big mistake.
We now have things like this board to alert conservatives of notable candidates throughout the country. I don’t think we’ll ever “own” the RNC and even if we did my general distrust of all things centralized would still keep me from trusting it to properly dole out my contribution.
I consider the RNC to be like leap year.

I’m not going to debate you line by line, although I could and very effectively. For someone who seems to be as intelligent and as much a student of political history as you appear to be, I am awestruck at the illogical and invalid conclusions you draw from what seems like a fairly good menu of premise’s.

Times have changed.
This isn’t just about writing letters. It’s about putting our money where our mouth is. It’s about getting involved at every single level to stop this insanity.
WHY do you insist on gloom and doom? I wouldn’t be writing our obituary just yet. But hey, thanks for bumping the thread. Even THAT little bit of support is better than nothing.
