I don't have a preconceived notion about the book and to read it would serve no purpose, unless the book was written by my partner. The needs of one’s partner is all that should matter. Problems develop when the needs are not being met and it is naive to think only one partner is at fault. It is a break down of the two shall become one thing. Thanks for your suggestion anyway.

How can you say you don’t have a preconceived notion about a book you haven’t read when your comment makes it obvious that you do to someone who has actually read it?
Don’t let the title mislead you.

I agree with everything except the government involvement part.

I have no preconceived notion about the book. I also have no desire to read it. The only thing that matters is what my/your partner needs. That cannot be told to us by someone else. We need to hear and we need to listen to our partners, and if a relationship is going to be successful, we need to meet each others needs. Have a nice day.
