Please tell me what Romney has to do with .........Special Forces Soldiers Could Be Zooming Into Combat Wearing Gryphon Stealth Wingsuits It could be because the Romney men are so dedicated to avoiding ever serving in the Unites States military.

Wrong my friend, it is a stupid ideal, should I say one that will not fly.

You, "my friend", are a contrarian, and as such you serve a purpose.
Like a sea anchor or a drogue, your wisdom (if it can be so called) is always in opposition to the future!
Hard to stand against the on-coming tide, eh?
To: SonOfDarkSkies
Wrong, ding bat, there is something call lift-to-weight ratio. IT takes so much wing span to provide X amount of lift. Those little skinny guys are not full grown fully armed combat troops carrying their equipment on their backs. Science fiction is science fiction. Now back to the gate room.
To: org.whodat
Your resort to insult is in direct proportion to your own deep-seated fear that your are wrong.
So far, wing suits have a 3 to 1 glide ratio. That can only be improved upon.
We all know you...you cannot command our respect, but you are at least consistent.
And what's so wrong with being a useful contrarian?
We all just serve a purpose...is that beneath your dreams for yourself?
Please enlighten us!
Or is friendly banter beneath your dignity?
To: SonOfDarkSkies
LOL, I'm not wrong, a pretty picture is not reality. But feel free to send it to the boys at Myth Busters, they need new material.

Whoever makes the first working unit will have it stolen by everyone after the first mission with it.

Back in the 1970s there was a civilian that made a set of wings almost exactly like that, they didn't work well at all and he had to have a parachute in order to stay alive when he landed, otherwise, "SPLAT". I don't think those dinky a**ed wings will generate in lift at all. The parachutes(actual chutes)they use today are capable of gliding 50 miles to a target as it gradually descends.
I call BS on these wings, which aren't a parachute at all.
