A Month in the life of George W. Bush ( News and photos) Debember 2009
White House Archives ^ | December 3, 2009

Posted on 12/03/2009 6:41:04 PM PST by Kaslin

First of all my apologies for being so late to post the monthly Sanity Island. I got started late and and that put me behind

It’s almost 11 month since President Bush has left office. There goes no day by that I wished he were still in the White House. No matter though he is still my President and will always be as long as I live.

Today I will post photos from December 2001 and 2002, and tomorrow from 2003 and 2004

For the quote of the day I have chosen the address President Bush gave to the Marines at Camp Pendelton on December 4, 2004. I will only post the first two paragraphs and will post the link to the entire address

Enjoy your visit to Sanity Island

"We won't forget what took place," said President Bush, referring to the Sept. 11 terrorist attacks. "And we will bring them to justice." White House photo by Paul Morse.

What a difference 11 months makes. I miss having a president who didn’t use the troops as a backdrop for his photo ops. Bush’s domestic agenda left much to be desired, especially in the second term, but you always got the feeling he cared about our military. Nov 2010 can’t get here soon enough. I think they’ll be a lot of surprised libs when they see how many seats they lose.

Bush at the Church of the Brethren Warehouse New Windsor, Maryland Dec. 8. Children from across the country donated their efforts and dollars to buy clothing, toys, school and other supplies. I’m sorry that I did not wait for the “All Clear.”

I guess I just had to say, “THANK YOU!” pretty badly there. :-)
